There may not even be elections after this cycle, and don't be surprised if something happens to stop even this election. What we need to do, if Romney gets elected, is put the fear into the hearts and minds of Congresscritters and Senatoids that this march,

And those who fear Obama so much are going to suddenly grow a backbone to oppose who? If they're milquetoasts with Obama, then they'll be milquetoasts with Romney. In fact, they're probably certified, USDA Grade A milquetoast.

Yes. Reagan would support Goode. Reagan left one party over principle; he'd do it again.

First off Reagan did not leave the Democratic Party over principles, he left over philosophy. That philosophy was freedom vs. government control. Secondly, he fought against the trending Republican Party principles of creeping socialism, so it wasn't their principles he embraced. He knew that no 3rd party has ever succeeded in the national political arena. Thus he would not have made the flippant statement you suggest. Instead he would have remained in the party that offered the best chances to adopt his principles, and continued to fight the good fight. The fight for right over wrong, of good over evil. He would never have allowed the greater of 2 evils to prevail.

Reagan would have convinced Goode to run on the Republican ticket, and had he lost the primary bid, he would then have supported the Republican nominee. He would not have supported Goode as a candidate in a 3rd party because he would have known it was fruitless to do so. It only supported the candidate he opposed more.

Obama is not working in a vacuum. Wake up, there are many evil forces in the world that are actively aiding him now. Those that aren't, will when he wins re-election.

The only thing I fear is that too many people like yourself will not recognize that the greatest threat to our way of life, and our freedom, is the re-election of Obama. If that fear is bot realized, then my fear will become that people will think that the battle is over if Mitt is elected. The reality is that we have a long war ahead of us, and it is important that we not lose critical battles along the way. If we do then the war becomes even that much more difficult.

I honestly believe that too many buy into the theory that the American public make up the largest army in the world, but the reality is we are not an army. At best we are the largest number of freedom fighters, who if push came to shove would be severely out gunned and more than likely unable to restock ammo and other supplies, much like the Confederacy.

Right now I believe the best way to wage this war is to focus on the removal of this President who is against everything that America stands for. The next step is to not get comfortable and think all is well, but to keep up the fight.

Fear is healthy, for it alerts us to danger. It is only when we succumb to fear that it destroys us.

I'll remind you of Proverbs 19:23 of the King James version: The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
