But there are many significant areas in which we agree: the need for lower taxes, smaller government, and a reduction in out-of-control spending. We certainly agree that abortion is wrong and marriage should be between one man and one woman. I am also comfortable with Governor Romney on foreign policy matters, and we share the belief that we can never allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons. And while I had concerns about Governor Romney making a case as a candidate about fighting against Obamacare, I have no doubt if elected he will work with a Republican Congress to repeal it and replace it with a bottom up, patient, not government, driven system.
Above all else, we both agree that President Obama must be defeated. The task will not be easy. It will require all hands on deck if our nominee is to be victorious. Governor Romney will be that nominee and he has my endorsement and support to win this the most critical election of our lifetime.

Really? You look at a presidential race and a change of party platform in post 4, and you worry about a congressional seat endorsement?
If not being a serial cheater, not having 3 wives, not pushing the global warming scam in ads with Nancy Pelosi makes someone a zealot...count me in.
I look at both. Both suck. We should be focusing on beating Obama, not forming yet another circular firing squad.
Santorum is a phony, a political parasite always fighting just to keep a job, I want him to be gone from the public arena after this year, not infecting us with rionisms and shallow, phony commentary for years to come.
Trust me... I have already counted you in.
Perhaps I'm just a skeptic, but I want to make sure that Romney has no trouble remembering his promises.
Just imagine how well Santorum would be doing in the upcoming primaries with same-sex marriage being the dominant issue if he had stayed in. Similar to the surge he got during the contraception issue. But he had to “take one for the team” and hand the nomination to Romney.
“The Truth Regarding Santorums Endorsement of Arlen Specter
October 12, 2011
The reason I endorsed Arlen Specter is because we were going to have two Supreme Court nominees coming up, said Santorum. I got a commitment from Arlen Specter that no matter who George W. Bush would nominate, he would support that nominee.

Santorum said Alito would not be a Justice if it werent for Specter. Specter was very effective at being the head of the Judicial Committee. Toomey would not have been the Judicial Committee leader, plus Toomey might have lost the election at that time. Specter won the election by a good margin.
“....Wow, you people are STILL attacking Santorum? Why not try and post some videos and negative things about Obama for a change?”
Maybe they want to deflect from Obama’s faults by telling mistruths, or half truths, about Santorum.
Santorum did what he was paid to do — keep Constitutional conservatives from the nomination.
