I seem to recall a case regarding refusal to cooperating with a search or telling them to go get a warrant, then escalates to probable cause. It was just a few months ago we were discussing it right here on FR.

I seem to remember something similar; too bad I suck at searching. ;(
(But there is something wrong when demanding that due-process is followed *IS* the ‘probable cause’ for arresting you.)
