I just read the complaint filed by the Holder Justice Department against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. (See also PJ Tatler on the radical lawyers who wrote the complaint.) The complaint includes a collection of sufficiently insensitive anecdotes by MCSO employees. One of the acts giving rise to the federal lawsuit is this outrage:
MCSO supervisors involved in immigration enforcement have expressed anti-Latino bias, in one instance widely distributing an email that included a photograph of a Chihuahua dog dressed in swimming gear with the caption “A Rare Photo of a Mexican Navy Seal.”
This allegation gives you the opportunity to experience how a Justice Department attorney’s worldview colors evidence in a case. Here is the photo that will form an integral part of the United States Department of Justice’s case against Sheriff Joe:
To the DOJ lawyers who brought the case, this photo is evidence of “anti-Latino bias.” Put aside the fact the dog is not wearing “swimming gear” as the DOJ lawyers write (it is SCUBA gear, not swimming gear). For sure, the photo jabs at the comparative weakness of the Mexican navy in view of the prowess and skill of the American Navy Seals. The breed of dog certainly conjures images of Mexico, perhaps because the dog is named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Whether this photo has any relevance in proving an “anti-Latino bias,” I will leave to the eye of the beholder. One thing is for sure, it sure doesn’t carry much weight.

Methinks the DOJ may have picked a fight with a far larger and more ferocious dog than they should have. Sheriff Joe will eat them for breakfast.
The thing that cracks me up about it is “Mexican” is no more a race than “American” is.

I don't care if you're Mexican, black or white, that Mexican SEAL pic is funny. Looks like Winsome Gayle doesn't agree though, maybe her bio sheds light on her lack of humor.

In fact, she continues to be the head of the Washington chapter of the Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus. She also wrote her undergraduate thesis on “Consensual Sodomy Laws: The Place of Morality in Law Where Justice is Concerned.”
Not only that, they have dressed the dog in black, so this must also be a racist hate crime against blacks.
I would have named the dog “Skittles”, Jesus Garcia Mohammed Obama Skittles.
Holder’s DOJ has a lot of time on their hands since they aren’t doing their jobs—enforcing federal immigration law.
So they pursue political vendettas against those who are trying to do their jobs.
As I noted on another thread (politics has always been hardball but), life under Obama has been like living in a banana republic. I can’t recall anything like it in the last 40-50 years.

They say much worse things about us to our faces daily. Case in point: I had to battle for 3 mos. to get the attention of my supervisor concerning 2 cooks who would call me; bitch, pussy, fag, and of course, in spanish while giggling like jackles. Finally, my supervisor and FBManager got so sick of my complaints that they had to give in and relieve me of the first shift, and only because they thought I could make it quite rough on them; I hinted that I was a protected minority group, and that being called a “fag” might be of some concern if I were repremanded for not wanting to work that shift(even though I mention to them the 2 other vulgar comments). These idiots are so PC that I only needed to imply the offence. Good for me, and we all need to shove their crap right back in their face and make them eat it too. And it shouldn’t matter whether or no someone is gay straight or what-ever, respect is all i wanted, but these reptiles don’t seem to understand, or refuse to.
They don't care as long as they can win the illegal vote, that's what this is really about, IMO. This is just a circus to fool the ignorant.
