Michael Bennet, the Democratic Senator from Colorado who defeated GOP candidate Ken Buck in 2010, emailed supporters last night to slam newly-chosen Indiana GOP Senate nominee Richard Mourdock:
Last night in Indiana, Sarah Palin's hand-picked Tea Party candidate Richard Mourdock beat 36-year incumbent Senator Dick Lugar in the state's Republican primary.
Lugar knew the value in working together to get things done and the Senate will miss his bipartisan tendencies. On the other hand, the name Richard Mourdock might be new to you, but his Tea Party ideology is more of the same Palin-style extremism we've seen from the likes of Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell and even Ken Buck right here in Colorado.
Democrat Joe Donnelly is taking on the Palin-Mourdock machine in November because he believes that Indiana should send someone to Washington who is accountable to the people of Indiana, not to Tea Party front groups and their special interest backers.

More Democratic Party BS, dutifully reported.
i’m from colorado bennet is an idiot and sounds like he is stoned all the time.
YOU nailed it, Resettozero.
Bennett obviously replies to Palin’s Mourdock endorsement in an attempt to energize his nasty, waning base.
I suspect this approach by Palin addresses the risk of energizing the union/Democrat/Marxist base. This may be the reason she has cooled the theatrics and simply calls her shots, sends her message and moves on about her business, with plenty of dignity. She is developing into a pro which translates into “gravitas”.
It will be interesting to see if she is able to build some significant measure of clout in Republican political circles, enough to mount forces for the future, similar to what Romney did for 4-6 years in advance.
However that took plenty of money for Romney to buy Republican congressmen and senators so far in advance to obligate them to his future as THE candidate of record for the ‘12 nomination.
We conservatives have to start early and often now days, in order to arm up with the cash, clout and unity for a single conservative candidate in future primaries.
The Democrat implosion accelerates.
Jeez, the Left attacking a women....where’s the media on it??
For the record, Karl Rove's America at the Crossroads spent MILLIONS and MILLIONS of dollars on Sharon Angle and Ken Buck.
There is no independent group that spent as much as that to help those two people.
But yes, that organization decided to shift money away from Christine O'Donnell when she won the nomination to races that were more competitive.
And you can guarantee that they will spend millions on Murdock.
That does not square with Rove’s regular assaults on both of them throughout their campaigns during his appearances on Hannity’s show and I’m sure elsewhere.
Karl Rove’s America at the Crossroads spent $6.1 million supporting Buck and $3.8 million supporting Sharon Angle.
But yes, he shifted money away from Christine o’Donnell to races that were more win-able.
There was a time, not all that long ago, when a senator from Colorado, even a Democrat, would find much to admire in Sarah Palin.
