President Obama today announced that he now supports
same-sex marriage, reversing his longstanding opposition amid growing pressure
from the Democratic base and even his own vice president.
In an interview with ABC News Robin Roberts, the president
described his thought process as an evolution that led him to this place,
based on conversations with his own staff members, openly gay and lesbian
service members, and conversations with his wife and own daughters.
"I have to tell you that over the course of several
years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about
members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous
relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I
think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there
fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't
Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at
a certain point Ive just concluded that for me personally it is important for
me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get
married, Obama told Roberts, in an interview to appear on ABCs Good Morning
America Thursday. Excerpts of the interview will air tonight on ABCs World
News with Diane Sawyer.

I always knew that obama supported same-sex “marriage”.
And sharia law in the U.S.
And “hate crime” laws to protect gaysbians, muslims, and all sorts of other miscreants.
I have read Larry Sinclair’s book about his experiences with Obama. Very graphic and detailed. The man is a queer.
Obama just brought cultural conservatives over to Romney.
Romney’s expected to speak at a campaign event in Oklahoma City shortly. He better not screw this up. Now is his opportunity.
No, he’s got lots of tricks up his sleeve.
Here’s one way.
http://www.dailypaul.com/228915/spanish-company-owned-by-geo-soros-will-count-americas-votes-overseas-in-novemberHe’ll get the votesone way or another.
Wondering if this announcement will bring anybody to their senses here?
Anybody?
been away because of no computer but just heard the news and I’m using a friends right now and I’ve just asked a black guy here and some others whowere thinking of voting for him nd the black guy said hell no if he endorse homo marriage, the other two in the room who were thinking of voting for him have both refused to believe it but if they find out it is true then they will not vote for him.
LOW and behold they have just seen the TV and have said “no way I’m voting for him now”
Might now be round much in the near future until I get a new PC but you can rest assured this news will be getting out by me and my family to the black and hispanics
I didn’t say I didn’t care about issues other than the economy.
But, it’s clear that Obama’s strategy is to make sure the subject of debate is something—anything—other than the economy.
Is there anyone that doesn’t think the events leading up to this announcement weren’t carefully orchestrated and planned by the Obama re-election campaign?
Next month it will be something else, and the next something else, and the next something else.
It’s a FUD campaign (fear, uncertainty, doubt). Cause doubt and confusion in voters by hitting them from many angles and hope there is so much “issue noise” that voters can’t focus on the main issue: the economy.
As a Romney-bot, and possible Wikipedia author, you could have written that yourself. Some objective reference HA! I especially like the efforts at finessing such as "reluctantly backed". True wordsmithing from the mittens team!
Love it! This 100% guarantees we will take House, Senate, and Presidency from Hussein Obama this fall.
He never believed it was politically safe to do this previously.
Mitt Romney has freed him up to publicly move even further left.
Thanks a lot, Republicans.
Thanks for your post on the immediate, unadultrated reaction of some of our “fellow Americans.”
He just confirmed to many what a fagot he is!
Time to wait for the next Rasmussen poll and see the 0bastard rolling over.
Bingo! Note to Romney, do not get sidetracked from the economy.
Obama is just trying to give liberal groups some reason to vote for him, and to change the subject. A poor choice but that’s his game.
Just imagine the full on leftist second term we will get with this guy.
Roughly, but going back down in some polls. Opposed tend to vote it single-issue more than those for. I think in terms of votes it's a slight edge for Romney; but not likely to be a big factor.
Sleeper factor may be blacks strongly opposed affecting their turnout a bit. Not sure how all this breaks down in battleground states.
He says it before the vote, he looks like a failure when it passes.
He says it after the vote, he looks like he’s stepping into the fire to fight out-of-control prejudice when it passes. At least maybe, to some people, he hopes.
Easy call to make.
The only reason it happened is money. This is coming the day after the article saying his big homosexual donors were withholding money.
The question is does Mitt and the RNC still think this election is “about the economy?” For the liberals, that’s not even close to their top issue. Same-sex marriage is definitely bigger.
it’s all a load of crap saying ore people want their homo sham as every state which votes states they want normal marriage so I would not trust the MSM yet again on this issue.
The likes of Megyn kelly, Shep smith will be trying to push this issue as much as they can to further their own agenda.
What we have to do ow is tell all those from the black and hispanic community and those Catholics that a vote for him is a vote or queer agenda
Move these states that the communist won in 2008 over to the GOP column in November 2012:
Iowa
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Florida
maybe Michigan
