Imagine President Barack Obama leaning hard into Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, pressing him to support a piece of legislation or, say, introduce a budget bill that has been MIA for the past three years. Obama is a real go getter and has been burning up the phone lines until late at night to convince legislators to support him. He even invites a number of people from Capitol Hill to join him for rounds of golf where he continues the art of persuasion.
Hard to believe that fantasy? Well, that is what the Washington Post opinion writer Richard Cohen is fervently wishing for. Cohen's magic genie wish, inspired by the newly published Robert Caro book, The Passage of Power, is that Obama will do a complete U-turn on his introverted, hands-off personality and become like Lyndon B. Johnson. Here is Cohen going into flights of fantasy on this topic in his latest column with the somewhat less than ringing endorsement title, What Obama doesn’t know about being president:

If he means a one-termer, then I agree.
I agree with Richard Cohen, I too want obama to be like LBJ .................a 1 term president.
Now if only Obama could imitate LBJ one more time in realizing he is so hopelessly over his head and unfit to lead and spare this country the damage of his continued incompetence by declining to run for reelection.

After having sorted out OBL, Hussein should get a Silver Star, just as LBJ did. Be worth about as much.
Which begs the question, who REALLY fathered the Obama girls? I'm betting it was Jesse.

In 1957, the photographer George Tames snapped four shots of Johnson, then the Senate majority leader, working over the diminutive (and 90-year-old) Sen. Theodore Green. In the first picture, Johnson and Green are simply face to face. By the fourth shot, Green has been backed into a table and Johnson looms over him — physical, intimidating but oh so effective. This was called the Johnson Treatment and it was politics reduced to what it has to be — human relations. Bob Caro knows how it was done.
It certainly is intimidation -- strong-arming. And it's not something many people can get away with.
LBJ only lifted his dog up by the ears, he didn’t eat him.
LBJ wife=Lady Bird
Obama wife=Big Bird
LBJ 2 daughters= Lucy Bird and Linda Bird
Obama 2 daughters= Sushi and Malaria
Now all Obama has to do is lift up his dog by the ears and pull up his shirt and show his appendectomy scar.
