Santorum on Monday urged his supporters to join him in working with the effective Republican nominee to deny President Barack Obama a second term.

And I also know that over the millenia, Christians have taken God's word, and used Jesus' Name to do things that having nothing to do with being a Christ-follower.
The "Fruit of the Spirit" as listed in Galatians 5: 22 are the following....LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL.
This passage of Scripture is not about berating and belittling everyone in your path, but controlling yourself because we belong to Jesus Christ. It's about ourselves, and crucifying our own sin nature.....not others.
I am measuring everything I see to God's Word, and Christ's teaching and example, and that is exactly why I am criticizing you and Elsie.
I am not 'personally attacking' anyone for exposing false teachings. If that's all that was going on here, I would be silent. I understand exactly what Mormonism is, and have for decades, and know its errors, but that, again, is not what I am criticizing.
If you don't understand, svcw, that you are only a sinner saved by grace, and not better than others who have not yet found and accepted the real, crucified, risen Lord, who is the ONLY Son of God, and who IS God, then I would urge you to spend some time in prayer about that.

Every conservative here is opposed to Romney's liberalism, but we don't all hate the man with a deep and blinding passion. What you wrote is in opposition to mormonism, which is why it must be exposed.
Romney is a liberal, I will not vote for him. Romney is a mormon, he can not be separated from his beliefs. Romney is who he is because he practices mormonism, it makes him who he is. Unless you understand mormonism, it is not possible to understand him.

For those reading who may be unaware, a Temple recommend is a certificate filled out by a local Bishop and Stake President (The church is organized into Wards or Branches which are congregtions presided over by a Bishop or Branch President, and then Stakes which are groups of 8-10 Wards or Branches presided over by a Stake President).
The Bishops and Stake Presidents both interview anyone desiring to attend the temple to ask them if they are living according to the faith before going to patricipate in the teachings and ordinances there. Both have to sign. Without such a recommend, signed by both, a member may not attend.
So, Elsie, why are you so concerned with whether I have a temple recommend or not? What business is it of yours? Most people consider it a private matter between them and God.
As it is, I am more than willing to let you know that, yes, I do have an active Temple Recommend which I use.
I know this is bound to lead to more questions or accusations from you or others...none of which I believe are for the purposes of you actually wanting to know what we believe or why...instead, they are clearly meant to try and catch me or some other LDS member in their words, or in some trap set up by which you can then "expose" us for some kind of heretics in your view.
I will not play that game, other than to say that your methods and tone sound a whole lot like the methods and tone of the Saducees and Pharisees of old. They felt they were so secure in their absolute knowledge of the law of Moses and its precepts, that they never learned that it was actually a pre-cursor and preparatory doctrine for Christ and His atonement, mercy, and love. Instead, they were bent on attacking and exposing herectics so they could exercise their power over them, which had nothing to do with mercy, compassion or love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

What I would recommend to you is that you stop the lying, and concentrate on finding truely liberal Republicans to get out of office and replace with conservatives. Give money to Tea Party/Conservative candidates across the country who will be running against liberals (Give to JOSH MANDEL here in Ohio, who is currently ahead of Sherrod Brown, the most liberal Senator in Washington.....I'm going to be working for him).
IOW, ACT like a conservative, not just a Romney hater. Obama hates Romney as much as you do. For different reasons, but it's the same emotion.
Channel that emotional overload into positive action FOR conservatism, and you'll begin to make a difference.
