So Obama's lame ass immigration authorities held this lady longer than normal, and the liberals are going to try and blame the LAW.

I'd also like to add that this lady DID NOT have the proper papers...and she should have had them.

Also from this article, this outrageous fact:

Following the court hearings, the Obama administration announced illegal immigrants wouldn't be place in deportation proceedings merely for a traffic violation [choosing instead] to devote resources to deporting foreigners who have committed serious crimes.

So according to the Clown, being here ILLEGALLY isn't a serious crime. Got that?

“Following the court hearings, the Obama administration announced illegal immigrants wouldn’t be place in deportation proceedings merely for a traffic violation ...”

Like those “traffic violations” when people are killed by illegals driving while loaded, etc.

Let's see:

Married four years and finally filed with immigration two months ago...
No drivers license...
Illegal turn (possibly endangering others)...
Hubby is irate and quotes: "We know it's illegal for her to drive without a driver's license. But how can she run errands, buy food and baby diapers?"...

Smart is not a strong family trait.

I hope she at least got a couple of tickets for her efforts.

All the foul-ups were made by the feds so how does this apply to the Arizona law? And in case there are cries of profiling:
Her husband said from Germany: "We know it's illegal for her to drive without a driver's license."

Why is she driving without a driver’s license?

These are the problems with illegal aliens, they cannot be responsible citizens like the rest of us must be.

If she is driving without a license , she is also driving without insurance, as Insurance doesn’t cover driving without a permit.

If she doesn’t know not to kakeillegal turns she dosn’t belong driving anyway.

If my wife was caught driving with no license, no insurance,no ID, and even being a legal resident she would probably get locked up too, until someone showed up with her ID

"being here ILLEGALY isn't a serious crime"

Illegal entry is a misdemeanor and most don't consider misdemeanors serious. But, illegal entry is punishable by fines, jail, or deportation, but usually they are offered the option of self deportation because that is much cheaper for the govt.

Visa overstay is not a criminal infraction, but it is a civil infraction punishable by fines, jail, or deportion.

And her arrest for driving without a license is pending, yes?

...

...

Didn’t think so. No license, no insurance, if she were American, she’d be in serious trouble and would be glad to get off with just two days in detention.

Her husband said from Germany: "We know it's illegal for her to drive without a driver's license. But how can she run errands, buy food and baby diapers? When I was there, I was doing that."

So, why didn't she have a driver's license, then? If you knew better?

The lady didn't get in trouble because she was illegal, she got in trouble because she had no proof of identity -- no DL, no SS card. And anybody who makes an illegal left turn and is caught without any proof of identity is going to end up in jail.

“is in the process of legalizing her U.S. residency”

Translation: Here illegally and waiting for her INS attorney to try to get her permanent residency.
