Eddie Rabbitt issued the album Loveline which produced two hit singles and continued his crossover status. This was the moment in Eddie Rabbitts career when Country morphed into Hot Country. The first song was co-written by Stevens and Malloy.

The second song was co-written by Stevens, Malloy and Randy McMormick. There is a definite taste of R&B in this number. Hes giving country music a big ol stretch. A few years earlier, this would have been recorded in Muscle Shoals, not Nashville. A lot had changed.
