REP. MICHELE BACHMANN, R-MINN./FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Good evening, Greta. Good to talk to you this evening. VAN SUSTEREN: All right, well, things certainly have changed. So I know that it's no surprise that this candidate -- that this next phase of the election gets rolled out, you are going to see every sound bite you ever made saying something about Governor Romney. You're going to have to answer to it. It's going to be in every ad. And you're going to do it to the other side.
So tell me, you called him a frugal socialist. Now what are you going to do? How do you -- how do you support him now? BACHMANN: Well, of course I can support him. Two words, Barack Obama. That's our alternative. We have President Barack Obama or we can have President Mitt Romney. It's very easy for me to come forward and support Mitt Romney because we simply have to win the election. He is our nominee. This week, we saw Newt Gingrich drop out of the race. And what I've said from the very beginning, Greta, is that I want to be a unifying voice to bring our party together at the right time. I've spent a long time working behind the scenes, trying to draw in people from the Tea Party, evangelicals, social conservatives. We all have to come together.

“skoole”
I like that!
Shouldn’t we be practical?
Romney, whoever he is and whatever positions he’s taken in the past, beat out several very spiffy competitors in the primaries. Voters did it. You say it was because of his organization? You say it was because of all the campaign money he spent?
Consider that it might also be because a sizeable number of voters like the guy and his positions, comparatively speaking.
The weapons I just spoke of worked in the primaries. They’ll be used in the general election. This sounds like a good thing if you want to defeat Obama.
Bachmann told us how we should think, namely, “he’s not Obama”. Romney’s the guy we need to win the election.
Or maybe it was because he ran a dirty campaign, someone torpedoed the other candidates with false accusations and the MSM and RNC gleefully supported it all.
This whole deal pisses me off again! Cant stand Mitt, but I will pull the lever for him. Jeeze! Lesser of two evils again. But I want zero OUT! I want his Cabinet OUT! I want his czars OUT! I do not want him picking Supreme Court Nominees! I pray we retain the House, and regain the Senate. That would put some restraints on Mittens, if elected. I just see a vote for a write-in candidate, who has no chance of winning, as a vote for zero. Really ticks me off,,,,BUT I WANT ZERO OUT!
Thank you!
Very well said!
If 0bama is re-elected, 0bama will go all out to finish us off.
I cannot see how anyone can equate Romney with the very evil Barack Hussein Obama.
which liberal/socialist is better for your family, one in his second term or one in his first?
Or one in their party or one in ours.
This is not a choice between Mitt Romney and Ronald Reagan.
Newt Gingrich
No votes for baby killers. Ever!
“Dammit! They did it!
The Bastards, they did it!
Dammit all to Heeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllll!”
NBC equals Natural Born Citizen and Article II states that the president needs to be a “Natural Born Citizen”, or someone living in these United States currently. That qualifier exempts Jefferson et al. because they didn’t have parent who were citizens, since the country didn’t exist prior to the revolution or their parents were English. But it clearly shows that they wanted a person whose parents were born here and they recognised the need to exempt the current generation from that requirement.
I do prefer someone who is actually a Natural Born citizen with no blood ties to Kenya of any place else.
Right, article II clause 5 is the NBC requirement. Where is the exemption? Thanks
The writers exempted themselves when they said,”or those living in the USA today.”
