BACHMANN: Well, of course I can support him. Two words, Barack Obama. That's our alternative. We have President Barack Obama or we can have President Mitt Romney. It's very easy for me to come forward and support Mitt Romney because we simply have to win the election. He is our nominee.

True, yet so what? The November choice will be 0bama or Romney. When you come back to reality let me know. On second thought don't bother. I'm tired of discussing stuff with people who live in some sort of delusional world where a true conservative can come in at the last minute and win the presidency. As I said 0 or Romney is going to be the choice, and those who rightly think Romney is a liberal will have to decide if they want to vote for a third party and help 0 win or vote for Romney who still might not win.
0 has about 40% of the vote locked in already. The parasites love him. The blacks who voted for him because he's black will still vote for him since he's still black. Those with the occutard mentality will vote for him because they're too lazy and too cowardly to steal on their own. The election will come down to the "independents" and they aren't going to vote for some guy they've never heard of. So Goode might make the best president in the last 50 years, but Romney is going to be the only 0 alternative with a chance of beating the dog turd currently contaminating the white house.
IMO it is more likely that 4 years of Romney will yield more statist legislation than 4 years of Obama. Given a R Senate and an R Congress with a R President the reaching across the isle will be UFB.
It's like an opportunist pig sty, with huge hogs, of the Democratic and Republican stripe, all at the trough, larding up on the government laws, regulations, and handouts. They may jockey for position amongst themselves for a bigger share of the largess, but one thing is certain, there is no room at the feeding trough for we the people.
And if anyone comes along, be it Sarah Palin or the Tea Party folks, and suggests that the trough be downsized, well, the GOP-E hog will turn on that party with a savagery never experienced by the Dem hogs.
That is actually a good analogy. Just remember, within weeks of taking Berlin, we were bitter enemies with Stalin and he was out to destroy us.
The last two democrat presidents were fatherless/bastards
who couldn’t pass the background check to get into the whitehouse if they hadn’t been elected president.
da troof.
I agree 100%. Add to this that Obama appoints in your face subordinates who over time enrage the citizenry with their over the top statements. Romney is smarter, he will appoint people just as willing to deprive you of your liberty, but much stealthier in their approach.
Reality? What reality?
Socialism has festered under both the GOP and Dems. The failings of the GOP-E led directly to them diminishing the GOP brand to the point where Obama won in a cakewalk in 2008. The Tea Party rejuvinated the GOP brand in 2010, but the GOP-E has done its best to fight that change and wants to go back to the bad old days of the last decade.
The choice is not nearly as stark as pinheads like you make it out to be. And that is the fault of the GOP-E, not conservative critics. Saying that the GOP-E's socialist isn't as bad as the Dem's socialist still means socialism. And if Romney wins, it will entrench the GOP-E socialists in the party, when the goal of the Tea Party is to DIMINISH the clout of the BeltwayRINO socialists.
So do we vote for the Pyrrhic victory of Romney in 2012, or retreat to fight battles on our own ground in 2014 and 2016? That is the question all conservatives are sorting out for themselves. Jerks like you parroting the same old expired party loyalty schtick can stick it where it don't shine.
So, when Obama acts like a socialist, I don't care what he says, he's a socialist.
And, when Romney acts like a socialist, I don't care what he says, he's a socialist.
And, when a person claiming to be a conservative votes for a socialist, I don't care what he says, he's a socialist.
Frankly I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think. You’ve not only shown yourself to be delusional and incapable of rational discourse, but a rude flame boy as well. Go pat yourself on the back if 0 wins this fall and say “Wow! that’s so much better than Romney.”
Just giving your point of view the level of respect it deserves.
Which is none. If I want to be hectored by a hypocritical pinhead whose views helped decimate the GOP last decade, I'll watch Karl Rove on Fox News.
You can't be bothered to answer the GOP-E socialism problem, and all you can do is bleat like the brain-dead pinhead you are that Romney isn't as bad as Obama. That's ain't gonna win in November no matter how much the GOP-E wants to believe otherwise.
Whereas those of us who think long-term in rolling back socialism can see how a Romney presidency would set back that goal years. And will weigh out for ourselves where the fight needs to be taken.
Have fun voting for the liberal democrat who will ensure you lose no matter what.
Bet you got a tingle up your leg just thinking about it, yeah?
Uh huh.....
242 Republicans in the House
As of one week ago only 104 endorsed; not even half:

This is McCain Part II.
Have fun watching your guy go down in flames. He’ll be lucky to get 40% of the vote.
That’s the reality for you. Deal with it.
Tea Party is where I’m at. 2016 is the LATEST in which I see a conservative President take the helm.
Bachmann will be as she has already made herself to be a ‘has-been’.
Well, we KNOW you won’t be making a difference, don’t we?
I am voting conservative.
Sorry, but the real actions have already been done. The GOP-E already trashed the concept of party loyalty in 2010. And stood back and allowed Romney to destroy any alternative. Scorched-earth politics does not lend itself to party unity, and especially when the person doing the scorching could never break 30 percent in polling until all other candidates were eliminated.
I don't like Romney at all, and I know his candidacy is nothing but settling for 3rd-rate goods. But Obama is out to remake this nation into something he and Bill Ayers envision. I cannot idly stand by.
And what to expect from a President Romney? He still extolls Romneycare to this day. He supports TARP. He would forge a coalition of RINOs and Dems to circumvent the Tea Party. I see plenty of negatives with a Romney presidency as well - so the question has to be asked, would a Romney win represent a serious setback in long-term Tea Party and conservative efforts to wrest control of the GOP from the RINOs that trashed the party brand last decade? I think it would, and that has to be weighed into any decision to vote for Romney.
I understand your thought process and respect it.
I can’t justify voting for Romney before my God, and I hope you understand that as well.
This is the best reasons to vote for M. Romney. I would add two more words: Eric Holder. That man is out of control.
There are other ways to make a difference, besides walking into a voting booth and using a number 2 pencil blackening the oval after the Republicans name.
Leaving to pick wild plums. Be back later to check for your response.
