He's the only viable candidate running, and the only possibility of a stop gap measure to save the country.

That isn't 'supporting' Romney. It's trying to save the country from immediate and permanent destruction by a dangerous, Marxist regime that has already made this beloved country of ours unrecognizable.

Just so you know...Newt has not endorsed Romney. Though the media is cleaverly implying as much. He did not do so.

Palin will endorse when we have a nominee, no sooner. She has made that clear.

Your wish since you mistakenly arrived here.

There will be no melt.

I’ve been here since the summer of ‘97, and have been aware from the first day that the site attracted trolls like you, but has a natural strength, borne of the strength of Jim’s committment.

I’d like to predict that your zot flare will be especially green and sulphurous, bringing joy to all here. Keep on goading.

The only actual pro-choice democRAT on the 2012 presidential ticket is Obama.

Nah. To this day Romney's positions and policies deny the God-given nature of rights. He thinks certain classes of human beings can have their most important rights stripped away by a democratic vote.

He's a pro-choice democrat, by definition.

He isn’t viable at all, that is an delusion. Obama will destroy him in the general.

Romney will destroy this country with a smile on his creepy face, same as Obama. He is a total lying scumbag and I will stand on my principles.

So everyone who wants Obama out of office is a ‘sell out.’

Yup. Getting more and more obvious every day. Never saw so many obama supporters in here, before. Well, they will get their wish, and he will get another 4 years. Then they will be happy.

...but now she openly supports a candidate who stands by government mandates and socialized medicine? And you don’t think money or political favor has anything to do with it?

I think she has played you for a fool. They are all phonys and frauds...just to varying degrees. That doesn’t mean you can’t like them....just don’t be naive.

getting rid of Obama, and that's obviously the decision Bachmann has made. To stand for America's survival.

No..it's simply standing with the party which is what candidates do regardless what they know is truth about their once opponet. It's "Their Party"...it certainly isn't ours...

They will stand with their own, they all said as much from the get go. Nobody should be surprised and nobody should be trying to add any reasons why they do so other than it's what they do...every year..all the time.

“If we don’t get rid of Obama this country is OVER.”

I guess I have more faith in our country than you do. Americans are never going to let one man or party completely take them down. Times may be rough, but in no way will the country be “over”.

Your melodrama sounds like Alec Baldwin when he was whining and threatening to leave if Bush were elected.

Face it. Romney is going to lose. No one can win an election when a significant portion of their base says they will “have to hold their nose” to vote for him. Without a motivated fired up base, the only thing that is “over” is this election.

If we don't get rid of Obama this country is OVER.

..and what makes you think it's not now? Do you honestly think Romney's going to stop this trajectory? and how. He has no plans because the plans are laid out for him...the script continues...he's just like Obama...does what he is told.......and what they're both being told is not good for this country or it's people. They are both on the same page in that respect.

As for Glen Beck...he's been in Romney's court from the get go....everybody knows that. ..and the informed knew that before the Primary.

Cain and Perry already have. Santorum and Newt are getting close.

Once Romney passes the 1,144 delgeat threshold, the others will endorse and campaign for him.

Newt, Santorum, Palin, Bachman, Cain, Perry, etc. will do so because despite the differences, despite his dealing as Governor in Mass...he is running on firm commitments now that if accomplished will turn this nation around. They all know he will be orders of magnitude better than Obama...and particularly if we can deliver a House and Senate.

I expect, once he passes that delegate count and officially becomes the nominee, that most folks will coalese behind him...even if (like with me) he was not our choice. For me it was Sarah, Cain, Santorum and Newt.

I pray we can defeat Obama and use our own influence, multiplied by millions, to help turn our nation away from the catastrophe.

No. Glenn Beck was for Rick Santorum, since Iowa. I think the only attention that Beck has given Romney is the t-shirt which says ‘Romney. At least he isn’t a commie.’ in my book that is damning with faint praise.

Yes...it's mass hysteria and it's building...very similar to the hyoe when Obama ran.....which should be a heads up to people....this time it's ‘Fear driven’ which is especially dangerous.... and it's being pushed hard and heavy across the Internet by Romney supporters. This type of fear is not of God....

Like Obama Romney can't run on his record because he never tells the truth.....his truth changes in whatever political winds that will carry him....and in some respects makes him worse than Obama because his basic agenda is the same...he's just coloring in the picture with his choice of colors...the picture won't change. We know Obama is bad all over....Romney's mask is firmly in place....

I won't be voting for Romney....First election I haven't voted for a President and that I do mourn...but I cannot get behind the agenda's these two are pushing and won't be a part of it...to do otherwise is treason against my country , and a huge dishonor to God.

“....Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering ‘his vote’ that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country...”

Well, based on some FReeper purists, she no longer has a seat on the conservative wagon. I wonder how many of those same purists ridiculed her during her run and called her too conservative, crazy, a nut, etc.

This is not to say I’m supporting Romney. I’m on the fence with him, but that said, I can understand why conservative politicians and conservatives are supporting him as an alternative to Obama.

Glen projected that he was for Santorum because he knew to support Romney would be associated immediately with his affiliation in the LDS. Add additionally he's still trying to get his station etc. running strong...and by the way well supported by LDS. Beck was smart enough to know to play low profile....

All tv pundits and such will play their cards very carefully in an election. Their primary concern is their listening audience above and beyond the political tides that be. In Becks case it's been especially so for he's still considered the new kid on the block.

SAntorum's surge came because the media was doing what they were told which was to lift Santorum at that particular. Santorum was the GOPS guy when and if they would need him along the way. Rick's a player and always has been. That hasn't changed as we see him now holding out his delegates until his price is met....
