“I want a President. I want a leader who believes in the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. . .”

“Thats all I want. Is there anyway to hold a President Romneys feet to the fire to make sure he abides by the constitution if he is elected?”
Sure there is.
If President Thomas Monson, the leader and prophet of the mormon organization, announced a revelation from the Holy Ghost that Romney had to jump, he’d jump. His gold card to the GOD Club would be on the line, he’d lose his planet making privileges. The Presidency is just a stepping stone to being a new King of Kings and Lord of Lords in his mormon view of the afterlife.
You can contact President Monson and ask him to use his authority over the President-elect, if you wish, to order Romney to correct his course, disobedience to church authority is a serious crime among believing mormons...fast way to get demoted from being a future God to being an unsaved lab rat like the rest of us. In the morg scheme of things, that is.

I’m an ex-mormon born in the LDS and I hope this helps. I really, really do.
That there is some scary shiite.
I don't care what his religion is, or lack of same, as long as he governs according to the Constitution. But being in thrall to some other religious figure troubles me deeply, whether that's some LDS prophet, the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, some Islamic cleric, or the 57th reincarnation of the Buddha.
Even if it weren't for his misbegotten political positions, Romney's just a little too weird for me.
