The notion that Mitt Romney is still or unpersonable is a narrative that's just not true, his wife Ann Romney said Tuesday on "CBS This Morning."
"I think in politics this is what always happens," Ann Romney said. "There is a narrative, you like to put someone in a box and keep them in a box."
But taking Mitt playfully by the shoulders, Ann Romney said Tuesday, "I still look at him as the boy that I met in high school when he was playing all the jokes and really just being crazy, pretty crazy. And so there's a wild and crazy man inside of there just waiting to come out!"

That there is some scary shiite.
I don't care what his religion is, or lack of same, as long as he governs according to the Constitution. But being in thrall to some other religious figure troubles me deeply, whether that's some LDS prophet, the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, some Islamic cleric, or the 57th reincarnation of the Buddha.
Even if it weren't for his misbegotten political positions, Romney's just a little too weird for me.
You must have missed what I wrote above. I live in New York, which will unquestionably go hard for Obummer.
Given that certainty, I say that in my case, a vote for Romney is a wasted opportunity to vote for somebody much better. Given that my vote isn't going to tip any balances, I'm going to cast my vote for someone I believe in.
If you read the writings of the Founders, you'll find they agree with that position, by and large. They even encourage voting for the person you believe in, when a vote for a "lesser evil" would make a difference! They had stronger principles than even I espouse!
I'm not voting for Romney. I'm not voting for Obummer. I'm voting for someone I think can do a great job given the chance, and God willing, she'll get a chance.
I started to do that once, just once, but it was too wild for me. Yep, I couldn't do it... I left the tag on the mattress... I'm in awe of Mitt. Awe, I tell ya, awe.
