Here's an update provided by Justin's little brother (20yrs)Chris:
"UPDATE: Justin just got back from a CT of his abdomen. His white count has been seriously elevated and the can't find the cause. They may have it tracked down now and can get it under control. All other signs are stable and he keeps improving on the vent. I just got word from guy who was with Justin about what happened. Justin had gotten out of the vehicle a few minutes before the incident. A bad guy ......300 meters away detonated the IED which exploded under the rear axle of the MRAP. The vehicle flipped rolling over on Justin and pinning his legs under the MRAP and his back pinned against the .50 cal machine gun. He was conscious most of the time but started going into shock. It a long time to get the HEAVE vehicle off of him so they could medivac Justin to the Field Hospital."
