Guessed wrong. I don’t try to convince the already convinced. I only respond to legitimate objections, not excuses. Anyone who would risk jeopardizing our Republic by having Obama elected again is not worth having a real conversation with.

It seems like even if we were to have a view that Romney is exactly the same as Obama, there would be a couple of things to consider...
1. The Romney version of Obama would be Robamney FIRST TERM...ie. a version of Obama who would have to worry about winning the next election, as opposed to the original Obama who is termed out and could/would go hog wild.
2. The Romney version of Obama ostensibly needs conservative votes, so is vulnerable to our pressure, whereas the original Obama has no allegiance, even fake allegiance to the right, so no amount of pressure would matter. I am recalling how pressure was put on W.Bush on the immigration issue and on a Justice he appointed. In both cases he caved.
