Still don’t agree. My apolitical neighbors were over last night. I asked them what they thought. “Lugar has to go.” I then asked will you vote in the primary this year. The response: a very enthusiastic “Hell yes we are voting. We said Lugar has to go.”
The on the ground sentiment here in Indiana is very very anti Lugar, and very tepid support from the pro Lugar people. Lugar is toast.
Do you suspect that your mixed-message across Indiana is going to get a high level of TEAParty and Conservative turnout?
You add the penumbra of gloom and doom surrounding the Romney presence on that ticket, and it's a loser.
Lugar, who I don't support, will squeeze in like liquid plummer and then you'll be out there campaigning this Fall for a Farleftwingtard AND a non-Republican!
I"d think by now somebody would figure out how to coordinate the interests and positions of the coalition to keep this sort of nonsense from happening.
