BURBANK (CBS) An official with the Los Angeles County coroners office may have been poisoned with arsenic, police said Friday.
KNX 1070′s John Brooks reports investigators are taking a closer look at the death of 61-year-old Micheal Cormier
Cormier, a respected autopsy and forensic technician who also was a photographer with the special operations response team, was rushed to St. Josephs Medical Center in Burbank from his North Hollywood home one week ago.
Hospital staff eventually advised police that there may be suspicious circumstances surrounding Cormiers death, said LAPD Lt. Alan Hamilton.
We have information that could potentially include foul play, Hamilton said.
After Cormiers body was back at the county morgue where he worked until last week, toxicology tests are being run to determine the cause of his death.
Police along with a hazardous materials team have also reportedly searched his home on Auckland Avenue.

I no longer think the lunatic left is just a bunch of mild mannered socialist loving peaceniks.
you may scoff, but I fear the terrorists are currently occupying the white house and have infiltrated all levels of society.
I fear for the lives of the 4 conservative SCOTUS justices and RIGHT thinking pundits like Limbaugh.
we have been invaded and dont even know it....
Actually in a very real sense the country has been zombiefied.
Then remember Zombie Rule #2
Double tap.
I can neither post, not think the response that came to mind.
Where's the tinfoil hat graphic when we need it?
What part of your neighbor falling off a ladder or slipping in the bathtub spells conspiracy to you?
Lighten up, Francis.
You need more sleep or a Valium. You actually believe what you're writing when so many other high-profile activists/pundits are a larger target? If you can't get the drugs, try mass quantities of Bicardi or Jack if you prefer. Get some rest, dude.
Truly LOL. Thanks. Just don't call me surely.
This one?
Good enough. Thanks.
Da nada, I’ve got dozens of them. I stay up nights and look for them rather than sleep...
If he had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and it was known that he had a “heart condition” as reported in the media, then this was it and he WOULD HAVE BEEN on prescription meds. For certain something to slow his heart rate and prevent arrhythmia. He would have seen a cardiologist regularly. This condition is what happens to someone who suddenly drops dead with NO KNOWN heart condition. It’s usually genetic and it happens to YOUNG athletes most often. During a game, the victim suddenly drops dead. An EKG and/or an echocardiogram would show the thickening of the heart muscle. If Breitbart had this, it would likely have been known early in life, since he lived into middle age with it. Very suspicious that he had no meds in his system and that this coroner’s photog suddenly died suspiciously and may have been the one to photograph his body. They searched the photographer’s home. Did he have photos there?

"Most adult cases of arsenic poisoning involve some amount of criminal activity."
Although I did read an article of someone who died of arsenic poisoning after eating shrimp and vitamin C at the same time. Who knew?
