What a racist thing to say....
Bad, bad; thanks for the information.
Islamic terrorist ‘soldiers’ infiltrating the USofA are the ones this communist/Islamic administration are trying to protect. The sooner Americans realize this current administration is working for the Muslim conquering of the West, the sooner we can clean the house of the filth. It may already be too late, because the vermin media are too well entrenched in shaping the thinking of the sheeple. ... And no one is oiling the guillotines
That is for the prospective employer to decide.
If there is a federally regulated “blank” in a job seekers record, the Human Resources manager need only ask the applicant what happened during that “blank.”
Nobody is going to hire a blank slate—better to employ an honest bad person trying to be better.
This policy is also intended to build resentment in minorities of color.
Fits with Jessie Jackson's assessment as well:
''There is nothing more painful for me at this stage in my life,'' Jesse Jackson said several years ago, ''than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery -- and then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.''

Most of the stuff that government does when fiddling in the private sphere with good intentions, backfires in unforeseen consequences.
Online presence is a bigger worry for a lot of people. A few goofy remarks on Facebook and the hapless job seeker will never know what hit him (or passed over him).
Go to a government office these days and try to get a Black person to help you. Good luck.
BTW, this (lowering the standards) started 45 years ago with schoool teachers and school integration.
Now you have to hire 'X' number of unqualified Blacks even when there are other qualified people available.
Hard work, dedication, and achievement no longer matter.
Or the employer could just do more hiring for factory positions in China and India and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission can pound sand. Then they can say they'll hire all the minority Ph.D.s and engineers in their field that they can find.
The strategy seems to work for Apple Computer. Why would any employer in their right mind want to deal with this?
Have you looked in the Oval Office lately?
Driving the economy and business down into the dump is their clear objective -— and it increases dependence on government handouts (and thusly they believe more people will vote for them). Almost nobody is hiring already today, due in large measure to the impending Obamacare mandates and other tax increases they have scheduled on horizon. Being unable to ascertain if the job applicant is a mass murderer or serial rapist is yet a further barrier to hiring - as no responsible employer will take such people into their places of business. More and more unemployment, worse and worser economy... America wake up or go down the toilet. Vote in November! Campaign and vote! Please don’t sit it out. We tried that last time and look what happened to our country. Thank you.
so now, if an employer cares about arrest records they’ll have to base decisions on the group a potential employee belongs too (e.g. race) rather than the background of the specific employee they are interviewing? And the people ordering these limits are admitting that some groups of people have higher arrest records than others. Either their motives aren’t what they claim, or they aren’t thinking (my guess is that they aren’t thinking)
“That is for the prospective employer to decide.”
Not in Obama’s America.
SOLUTION: Just “Circular File” all applicants with Afrocentric names. The drug screen will take care of the rest.
part of an effort to rein in practices that can limit job opportunities for minorities that have higher arrest and conviction rates than whites.
Well duh. That’s the whole point of background checks. It’s easier to keep them out beforehand than it is to get rid of them after they repeatedly eff up on the job
How about protecting us?
Best retort on FR, ever!
