Well actually you can't blame this one on the RNC, Rove or some convenient whipping boy. The RNC did not force Santorum and Gingrich to keep running and split the conservative vote. So we can blame this on ourselves, conservative candidates and their supporters. This is what primaries are all about so I am exactly sure what could have prevented this since there wasn't a single conservative candidate everyone would rally around.
Hey its bad either way we look at it. Both parties suck, but the Rat party would absolutely destroy this country. I know its still early but I wonder why Rove is doing this now, he’s been the one rooting for Romney since the beginning

We conservatives who voted against Ford in protest against the GOP-e won’t work to get Obama elected like we did for Carter. We have learned from our mistakes.
On the other hand the undervote for President on the conservative side may be of epic proportions. However, a Newt/Palin or Palin/Newt ticket would pack the house.

There is another choice, Virgil Goode, and at this point, I plan to vote for him.
And has been pointed out, people who point out Ross Perot, forget, that at one point he had a decent shot of pulling it off, until he went Cuckoo, towards the end of the campaign.
