The CYA memo: The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out. Those instructions were conveyed to Admiral McRaven at approximately 10:45 am.

If anything ANYTHING had gone wrong McRaven would have taken the blame and been thrown under the bus just like Obama has been doing to everybody in the military since day one. This needs to go to DRUDGE, to FOX, etc!

IIRC, Hussein deferred making a decision and so Leon Panetta stepped up and made it for him.
Just look at the infamous ‘war room’ photo. Hussein looks like a bumb kid who was delivering pizza and was invited in to weatch the last two minutes of a big game.

I also read that our Dear Leader was dragged kicking and screaming to make that decision to give a green light as his (ONE OF MANY) Radical, Islamic Jihadist supporter and appeaser, Valerie Jarret (sp?) argued strenuously against this mission less....wait for it....the members of the Religion of the Perputually Offended, might be “offended.”
