this is what comes to mind when I hear of the Obamas excesses:

We finally got a piece of the pie.
George Jeffereson earned his way to the apartment in the sky by owning and operating a chain of dry-cleaning shops. He didn't have his life handed to him. Everything he had he came by honestly with his own work, time, and sweat.

Actually that was just a TV sitcom and he was just an actor but still a positive portrayal - sort of ... ;-)

Actuallyt, if you read the *script intro* a little more closely, he got that chain by suing a "White-Hispanic" who shot his son's dog, and was awarded the business chain in a court-ordered, race-based lawsuit by NAN (Rev Al Charlatan).
