WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's childhood aspiration of becoming an astronaut was dashed by NASA, but she may not be giving up on the dream of reaching the heavens.
Clinton welcomed the British billionaire Richard Branson to a State Department conference on global investment on Thursday by saying she was "excited he's here because many, many, many years ago, I wanted to be an astronaut, and I think he may be my last chance to live out that particular dream."

Payola and political corruption is the only way this “thing” would get into space. She wouldn’t get past an elementary science course.
Which is why she’s a liberal, and why she had to marry to get anywhere.
Sorry, libs, but my wife could think the Hillabeast into a stupor.

North Korea has a good space program. Let them fire you into orbit.

I thought the NASA thing and Clinton was BS, just like her trying to become a Marine years and years ago turned out to be BS.

Can’t she just use her broom to go into space?

With the shuttle out of service there isn't anything with a big enough payload bay is there?

With the shuttle out of service there isn't anything with a big enough payload bay is there? My thought as well -- no heavy lift vehicle available to launch that load into space.
Then I remembered Krusty the Pantsuit is capable of achieving escape velocity all by itself.
Go Hillary!

And then we will all live as if with Damocles Sword hanging over our heads dreading the day of her re-entry frantically plotting her exact impact zone. Some human achievements are best left unaccomplished.

Now you've got me thinking of the "Dr. Evil" re-entry scene in that Austin Powers film. See also, the old Spy Magazine cover titled "Hillary's Big Secret".

No, you didn’t really give me those mental images just before I go to bed. Have you mistaken me for someone who totaled your car or burned down your house or something?
