No doubt, but Maryland has them beat!
That would not insure that your vote would be counted. They way it works is that the early/absentee votes are delivered to the polls sometime in the middle of the day. They are opened and checked off against the poll lists as the clerks have time during voting hours. Then they are placed into the the ballot boxes where they are counted electronically with the rest of the ballots.
If someone comes in during the voting hours, pretends to be you, and claims your ballot before your absentee ballot is counted, you are out of luck. Your absentee ballot would be rejected because the clerks would think that you decided to come to the polls and vote in person after all.
We need photo voter id.
I’ve lived here 27 years. During that time, photo voter id has been passed by both the public (advisory referendum) and by the legislature. Then it was vetoed by a Dem Governor. Now it’s being vetoed by rogue judges. In the mean time voter fraud continues. A report, accidentally released to the public when Milwaukee was in transition between police chiefs, proved that there was rampant voter fraud in just Milwaukee in the 2004 presidential election. The new police chief disbanded the Milwaukee fraud unit just before the 2008 election. The Milwaukee report doesn’t even touch on what goes on in Dane County. The head of that task force was “induced” to retire by being given less than desireable assignments. That 67 page report has been scrubbed from the Web.
Nobody checks on the students who think that they are allowed to vote both at college and at home. Nobody checks on people from out of state who own summer cottages here who vote in Wisconsin. I remember that in 2004 there were ads running in Madison asking for students who were interested in traveling to MN to vote again because MN also has same day registration. Also in 2004 the streets all the way north to Pt. Washington were suddenly choked with IL cars on election day. Hmmmm. I wonder why?
How many times in his entire life has this ‘JUDGE” had to present his own ID? Thousands, I’ll bet.
This is so bogus, I don’t even have words for this jerk of a jurist.
YOU GOTS TA HAVE YO SHOWME ID IF YA WANTS TA GO ON DOWN TA THE LIQUOR STOR AND GET YE SOME GIN AND JUICE!!!!~!
I just got my new voter registration card in the mail today. They send me a new one every two years. If they send one out and the person is no longer at the address, the post office is supposed to return it as undeliverable and the voter is purged from the rolls until such time as they re-register from a new address.
Forgive me if I have already told you of this incident, but when my son attended the UW Madison, one of his roommates from out of state wanted to vote in the presidential election. He was told that since he didn’t have an ID that indicated his Madison residence, he could bring one of his roommates and a rent receipt to the polling site and vote.
Another roommate who had already voted went with this young man and candidly mentioned to the poll worker that he could probably vote again and no one would know the difference. The poll worker didn’t express any emotion when he said that he was probably correct.
I think a huge amount of fraud is taking place as a result of the relaxation of standards for absentee voting. When I was in the military and stationed 10,000 miles from Madison, I had a very difficult time obtaining an absentee ballot. Today, you don’t even need a valid reason for requesting one.

If Walker can issue an EO over these “county” judges then he should do that. The state appeals and SC indicated that they will not here it until after the elections which is unexcusable. “county” judges should not have that rouge authority over an entire state.
Absolutely! And Wisconsin has been on the “list” for years as being one of the worst states in the US for getting ballots to the miltary and counting them afterward. This year (as part of that voter id law) county clerks are required to hold the final count open for at least a week (maybe longer) for all the military ballots to come back and to be counted. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.
The judges would rule that their recall is "unconstitutional"!
We definitely need photo ID! I meant to go in to the polling place early before the buses of perps arrive. Of course, then they’d probably just use another name of someone who came later or is dead.
Thinking back to the early 1970’s, I’m sure my absentee ballots from overseas were never even counted.

You actually meant to say:
"Hard to get voters to understand that the communists (Democrats)...."
Most of the state is conservative except for the insane in Madison, the moochers in Milwaukee, and the stupid in Northern Wisconsin. It’s sad that the majority of people have to have these pockets of fools, especially Madison, with all the power.
No doubt that there is a compelling need, but its still a state issue over state elections.
Leftist like the chance to appoint judges if for no other reason than it allowed them to do whatever they want, regardless of elections.
Republican victory comes down to recruiting sufficient numbers of legitimate voters to simply overwhelm the leftist ability to produce fraudulent ones.
An alternative strategy might be to start playing the leftist game. When the left have been convinced that they stand to gain as much from the elimination of voter fraud with ID & residency checks perhaps they wont fight it so hard it.
Otherwise Wisconsin will simply have “unusual voter turn out”. Every other State should be glad the State does not conduct its census and that Wisconsin’s corrupted electoral inflation power over Washington is limited to just her 8 congressmen, 2 senators and 10 presedental electors.
Were there a Federal popular vote, Wisconsin’s voter fraud laws would be disenfranchising Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Louisiana, and all 45 other States.
This my friends is an example of why we should be thankful for the electoral cottage. It lets Wisconsin control her own elections without disfranizing the people of any other state.
