That would not insure that your vote would be counted. They way it works is that the early/absentee votes are delivered to the polls sometime in the middle of the day. They are opened and checked off against the poll lists as the clerks have time during voting hours. Then they are placed into the the ballot boxes where they are counted electronically with the rest of the ballots.
If someone comes in during the voting hours, pretends to be you, and claims your ballot before your absentee ballot is counted, you are out of luck. Your absentee ballot would be rejected because the clerks would think that you decided to come to the polls and vote in person after all.
We need photo voter id.
We definitely need photo ID! I meant to go in to the polling place early before the buses of perps arrive. Of course, then they’d probably just use another name of someone who came later or is dead.
