In other words, being in the leadership isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. All that responsibility takes time away from enjoying the perks.

The dems have the blacks in their pocket. The Repubs think they have the conservatives and TEA Paery in their pockets because we have no place to go. I’m tired of the plantation the Pubs keep me on. I can leave them and will. Romney is already appointing gays who hate Christians.

For nearly two decades, the GOP has delivered a substandard product. Why are they still in business? Isn’t it time to replace this incompentent supplier with someone who will provide an acceptable product?

It was Peter Jennings. He could be so snide and arrogant. I always wished he would go back to Canada, but he actually went much further.

It was Peter Jennings. He could be so snide and arrogant. Thank you -- I always forget which it was (they all look alike to me). It's so ironic ... Peter Jennings tells America it had a "temper tantrum" for rejecting liberals, and Romney backers accuse me of threatening a "temper tantrum" when I inform them I'll reject their guy even in the general. Hmmmmm ... Coincidence????

Someone here had been warning about this for over a year.
The buzz on the Dem channel is that they are going to try to paint Romney as an extreme radical conservative to force him in a corner. The most obvious one they already been doing is to tie him to the Ryan plan,,, ie cutting food stamps while cutting taxes on rich guys like himself.
Let's see how he reacts.

There is a myth that “Republican leadership” exists. Speaker “Bonehead” Boehner, Majority Leader Cantor in the House and Minority Leader McConnell in the Senate — what a collection of spineless, gutless, crybaby political hacks these people are. They couldn't lead a group of randy Secret Service agents to a Chinese cat house with a fist full of dollars and a billfold stuffed with credit cards.
If Mittens is the nominee, Obama wins in a landslide that will allow the Donkeys to keep the Senate and capture the House. At that point, America was we have known it, ceases to exist. Great job, GOPee.

Some of the comments on this thread, jeez.
I would rate our chance of losing the House about the same as it was in 2004. 1 in 10 maybe. It’s not gonna happen and we’re favored to take over the Senate, at least narrowly.
Boehner’s point (give us $$$) is well taken though, if you have money to donate give it to House and Senate candidates in close races.
