Original title: Michelle Obama's 44 cameo appearances on everything from Sesame Street to Jay Leno make her the most televised first lady in history
------------------------------
She's done push-ups with Ellen DeGeneres, chatted with Jay Leno and David Letterman, danced on Disney's teen show iCarly and appeared on Sesame Street - and that's just the start.
Research has shown over the last four years first lady Michelle Obama has been just about everywhere on TV from Comedy Central to Nickelodeon.
The study found Mrs Obama has already outpaced past first ladies, like Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, in the number of TV appearances she's made over the first four years of a president's term.

...Its now Barack, Spam King of the Internet, and Michelle, Cameo Queen of Entertainment Television, leading the invasion of public space privacy.
While her husband dominates the Internet, and with only the flimsiest of qualifications, Michelle Obama has invaded the boob tube to become entertainment televisions Cameo Queen.
..There is no proof of credentials that Michelle Obama was ever a schooled nutritionist, or someone qualified to educate people on the dangers of childhood obesity.
The ready made television Cameo Queen spot for Michelle Obama underlines how the Obamas have always been people of privilege in the scramble of community organizers to the top. Those wanting a break from a steady diet of the Obamas on the Internet and television wont get it without turning off the PC or television.
First Lady is another one of the jobs she was given by her man for which she was totally unqualified for. How come no one in the media takes a look at the job she had at that hospital in Chicago - you know the one where she got paid several hundred thou to find a way to push indigents off to other hospitals. Tuff work if you can get it...
Not to mention her picture on the front of every damn magazine which I turn over when possible...when does she have time to do anything else but travel & campaign?!
The Moose has already maxed out the number of people who will be influenced by her racist pleas to vote for Barack.
Now the only thing her overexposure will accomplish is to repulse more and more people who are already fatigued by seeing the Obamas campaigning on TV 24/7/365.
Michelle Obama: the definition of “tacky” in word, deed & appearance.
Dont forget the Wookie’s appearance in all three Star Wars prequels.
"Its now Barack, Spam King of the Internet"
I saw her on Finding Bigfoot. Or was that Monster Quest?
To paraphrase Arthur Dent:
"Ah, this is obviously some strange usage of the word cameo that I wasn't previously aware of."
I would think "guest appearances" is the correct and accurate term.
I’ve been fortunate to miss every one! But then, I don’t watch much TV anymore. I have a few current series I follow (The Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time, and Grimm), but I watch them online. I don’t have cable or satellite. I do have local digital (for local weather and the stations that play old movies and TV shows), Netflix, and a growing DVD collection of old favorites. I put on old B/W movies and shows when I occasionally feel like sitting back and watching TV or to fall asleep by.
I’ve also been fortunate in that I’ve missed every speech and appearance of the Zero. The few times I happened to run into him, I quickly turn the channel or just turn it off. I can’t stand to look at him or hear the sound of his voice.
January can’t come soon enough for me!
apparently some find my frequent opinion irksome because one reply of mine was deleted, first ever.
IMO it is a mistake to ignore the problem ("it's borrrrrrrrring" or whatever makes my frequent opinion offensive) because in a close election the apolitical voters will elect Obama.
I will stop naming the only "nonpartisan" program I know well enough to make comments.
IMO we must let "nonpartisan" media know it when they bash the right and virtually forbid criticism of Obama; or when they kowtow to left-wing MauMauing -- I have cited cases of that in past replies.
If the media want to support Obama -- fine! Just don't let them get away with saying that they are "nonpartisan." That's all. Give the apolitical folks a clue.

BTW, this morning on the William Bennett show it was stated how blessed we are because we have modern talk radio, the Internet.. so many sources that Americans did not have until recently.
Yes, but they failed to acknowledge obvious.. you have to use them! The vast majority of Americans are apolitical and won't do researching -- unless something shows them that the "nonpartisan" media are lying! Romney better have a way of showing them.
I recall the 1972 election. The TV shows, "news" media had Nixon defeated. Gone. Disgraced. No one they knew would vote for him. Nixon won all the states' electoral votes but one state's if I remember correctly. We cared. It was a lot more difficult to learn but we cared. Romney better have a way of making the apolitical care.
