There are two management approaches, and only two.
One is “back to basics” the idea that there are some things so important that if done right, they make a difference.
The other is “details matter”, the idea that after you have the basics right, getting the details right makes you even more effective.
When the government has not passed a budget in 3 years, it seems to me to be time for ‘back to basics’. If we focus on things on which we all agree, we can get the government back under control. After that, we can push for all the other aspects.
So what in my anecdote did you see as defending DADT?

Actually, homosexual sex is an abomination (as well an Obamanantion). DADT was passed to accommodate those suffering from the homosexual disorder who otherwise served with no other problems. It was put in place to deter witch hunts against otherwise good service member. It was not put in place, as you suggest, to demean downtrodden homosexual beings. Homosexual sex has ALWAYS been illegal in the military EVEN under DADT. All that the legalization of homosexual sex in the military has done has empowered the flaming fruits & nuts in addition to empowering morally devoid people like you to come out of the shadows and post your leftist homosexualist thoughts and views here on FR.

Like so many that promote the homosexual agenda (not surprisingly, RINO's, Romneybots, and Libertarians) you seem intent on conflating a disordered activity with a state of being as if to excuse the disordered activity.
