Ah, the race card again. I knew I remembered correctly that there was some racist stench about this hack:

Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) believes members of the Tea Party support Herman Cain as a way to prove that they are not racist.

In an interview with David for this week’s PRESS Pass, Cummings said, “I think when [members of the tea party] can vote for a Herman Cain and hear him say the things that he says they feel like, ‘Well, you know, I can, I support this guy and... so it shows that I’m not racist and I’m supportive.’”
