Cybill Shepherd Rants About 'War On Women'; Hypes 'Mother's Scared For Me' By Matthew Balan Created 04/20/2012 - 2:24pm
TV star Cybill Shepherd went on a radical feminist bender on Friday's CBS This Morning, touting that there really is a "war on women" manifested by the "attack on Planned Parenthood." Anchor Gayle King had to cut her off, as Shepherd inserted her diatribe at the end of the segment, but revealed her sympathies with her guest: "I think you're raising a good point. We just need more time to do it."
The far left actress made her devotion to the pro-abortion cause clear, and hinted that pro-lifers were so extreme that they would try to kill her: "Abortion is our constitutional right. We should keep it legal. And also, birth control should be available to everyone....I'm coming to lead the next march on Washington, and I'm not going to wear a bulletproof vest. My mother's scared for me." [audio available here; video below the jump]
The morning show brought on Shepherd during the 8:30 am Eastern half hour to promote her new TV series, "The Client List," which glamorizes prostitution. King glowingly congratulated her guest as the interview was ending: "Cybill, good to see you. You look great....Congratulations." The celebrity, who trashed Sarah Palin in October 2008, replied by forwarding the cultural left's talking points about conservatives' opposition to the Obama administration's abortifacient/contraception mandate:
Cybill Shepherd, Actress; Erica Hill, CBS News Anchor; & Gayle King, CBS News Anchor | NewsBusters.orgSHEPHERD: Thank you. I just want to say one quick thing-
KING: Okay-
SHEPHERD: About the war on women and reproductive freedom, including the attack on Planned Parenthood that- that, not only should- abortion is our constitutional right. We should keep it legal. And also, birth control should be available to everyone after [unintelligible]-
KING: Cybill, we really need more time if we're going to do that-
SHEPHERD: No- cut me off any time you want-
KING: Okay-
SHEPHERD: I'm coming to lead the next march on Washington, and I'm not going to wear a bulletproof vest. My mother's scared for me. This is an important thing-
KING: Okay. I think you're raising a good point. We just need more time to do it.
On Tuesday, the CBS morning newscast deferred to another left-wing Hollywood guest, John Cusack, who slammed the Obama administration from the left: "The excesses of the Bush administration...[The President] had a constitutional obligation to correct that, and I don't think they have, and I think that's deeply troubling....They've...continued that imperial presidency of the Bush administration."
If there is a War on Women ... Planned Parenthood is the tip of the spear, not a defensive garrison.

Sure, there’s a war on women...they should be encouraged to become prostitutes.
The challenge, as always with liberals, is to imagine just what might cause the two neurons holding those thoughts to migrate within the sac of mush that is her brain such that their electrical fields, however weak, might impinge upon each other.
The Left threatens.
The Left actually physically attacks members of the right.
The Leftists team up with people from other nations to destroy ours.
The Leftists promote policies that cannot be sustained.
The Leftists adopt the same mindset that brought the world people like Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, and so many more.
Misguided Leftists actually shoot their own.
Then they walk up to a microphone, and try to inform the world that they are the ones who fear for their lives.
Cybill, if those who you support weren’t such a direct threat to tens if not hundreds of millions of people on planet earth, I would laugh at your mental illness.
You forgot to mention that they actually kill millions of their unborn children each year. You dingbat...
Glamorizing prostitution.....
Ducky....just ducky.
Another 5 years & those who have any morals or ethics left will be targets of the freaks.
Cybill who claimed to have advanced her career by sleeping with every man she could, is undoubtably past her child rearing days and has absolutely no reason to care whether the tax payer coughs up fifteen bucks for her pill.
We lived in Memphis,TN for almost 40 years and I never liked that woman. She seemed to spend too much admiring herself, and highly esteeming anything about herself.

There REALLY IS a WAR ON WOMEN....
in the Muslim community.
No kidding. Christine Baranski blew her off her own show!
And that half of the unborn children are females.
I love people who rant about the “War on Women”, then immediately turn around and bash Sarah Palin.
From what I heard and read, this woman is despised by most of her costars. Her self named sitcom was cancelled becuase of her behavior on set and towards her costars.
She was happening....about 30 years ago.
“There she was, just a-walkin’ down the street...”
One of my favorite “Moonlighting” scenes ever, mainly because it showed her only real assets...acting sure wasn’t one of them.
