The slam dunk for this will be found with the autopsy report, and it will be based on how the bullet went through Martin’s body. The angle of the bullet track will show whether Martin was standing upright, was on top of Zimmerman as he described, or otherwise.
If he was straddling Zimmerman, with Zimmerman firing up, the bullet track is going to be very obvious and almost impossible to reproduce were they both, or even if one or the other were standing up.
What is left is an emotional appeal. If the Prosecutor can get a sufficiently incompetent jury, she might be able to sway them with emotional arguments and with threats racial unrest.
We'll see which path she follows and how bad she wants the conviction.
And I don't see your take..at all.

I’ve repeatedly said that Zimmerman should never have gotten out of his truck. The prosecutor can try to use that, but the next words out of the defense’s mouth is “Trayvon Martin should never have turned around to confront the man following him.”
Both of them were stupid.

I don`t think Zimmerman`s decision was particularly wise. It`s his call though, and leaving his truck is not criminal nor does it make him responsible for the final outcome.
It is an odd article. The writer seemed conflicted, which led to choppy, contradictory and confusing writing.
Where was the gun on Mr Zimmerman’s body?
If the gun was at the waist, then what was trayvon’s hands doing down there?
If a guy is bashing another man’s head on the pavement, wouldn’t his hands be at the shoulders or above?
When did his hands wander to the waist?
Then, was the gun in the front or back?
When trayvon was straddling Mr Zimmerman, did his knee accidentaly hit the gun, thus notifying trayvon that a gun was available and that’s when both of them went for it?
By "stand his ground" Crump means "Trayvon had a right to start beating Zimmerman when Zimmerman asked him "What are you doing here?"" They're going to need a jury of real 0bamaZombies to buy that.
If Corey takes Crump`s apparent strategy (don`t forget Corey said the two are in close contact) it`ll be the end of her career.
I sure hope so. I hope she is publically humiliated and faces legal repercussions that Nifong her but good.

Note: The second photo in both your posts showing a young black male in a wife beater shirt with a dart board clock in the background IS NOT TRAYVON MARTIN! That’s Tyrone Woodfork, perp in the beating/robbery/murder of a white elderly couple that left the wife dead. Factual innacuracies hurt rather than help to make a point.
They often show this in TV forensic crime dramas. It involves the use of wooden dowels a little smaller than the bullets used. And it is pretty conclusive. They can often tell if a person had their arms up when shot, or not.
Other factors are considered as well, such as powder burns on clothing and skin, how far the bullet traveled through the body, organs it hit enroute. You get two or three matching variables and it is pretty conclusive.
If Martin was straddling a prone Zimmerman and Zimmerman fired up through him, it would be very hard to prove a different shooting scenario.
Surely there is another OJ jury out there if (this time) the prosecution looks had enough.
