Ted Nugent to meet with Secret Service
Politico ^ | April 18, 2012 | Tim Mak

Posted on 04/18/2012 11:15:43 AM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

Ted Nugent will meet with the Secret Service on Thursday as a result of incendiary comments he made about the president, the rocker told conservative radio host Glenn Beck.

“We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow,” Nugent said on Wednesday, according to the Beck-founded website The Blaze. “I‘m sure we’ll have a great conversation … bottom line is, I’ve never threatened anybody’s life in my life. I’ve never threatened. I don’t waste breath threatening.”

Nugent emphasized that he has a great deal of respect for the Secret Service, and never actually advocated physical violence.

“Every reference I made, whether it’s a shot across the bow or targeting the enemy, it always ended the sentence with ‘in November at the voter booth,’” he said on the show. “I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious. They are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly.”

Yeah, I’m surprised that they could find time between snorting coke and hoseing um, escorts. Maybe they’ll get a bonus.

I hope there are enough good men willing to take the risk to save our country at the highest ranks of our military. A military coup to restore the constitution is the best option at this point, and the officers who pledged an oath to defending the U.S. Constitution from foreign and domestic enemies have obvious reason to do that by dismantling our corrupt, and out of control federal government. There may be dangers with a military coup, but every other realistic option just leads to a disintegration of the Union. I would rather our military take control and restore the constitution, which at least has potential for a better outcome.

Obama isn't going to be reelected in a fair election, but I also don't expect him to leave the White House as easy as past Presidents. He will act like the radical that he is, and I don't know if anyone will be willing to do anymore than talk these days. There is not much to celebrate about defeating Obama, and going back to the status-quo that is just ruining us at a slower pace. I doubt any President could save us at this point no matter how much they really wanted it, and were willing to sacrifice. We can't even get that kind of person in power to begin with. A lot of people are going to see a Romney win as something bigger than it is. Obama literally makes almost everyone look good in comparison because he has a hatred of everything good the nation stands for.

Obama is an anti-American, anti-Constitution, radical leftist who's making all our previously horrible Presidents look good. We have to get rid of Obama who's against everything this nation was built on, while remembering how bad the situation was before Obama. Obama is by far worse than anything we have ever had, but we have been dealing with a growing unconstitutional government for a long time. We haven't been able to stop it, and we won't stop it unless it's literally something as big as a military coup.

I hope they don’t expect Nuge to pay for the booze and hookers.

Get mitt to pledge to make Ted Secretary of the Interior, Palin SoS, Mark Levin at Justice, Arpaio at FBI, the Koch Brothers as Secretaries of the Treasury and the Tommy Franks as head of DoD... and I will think about it. :-)

Yeah man! Think “Hardcore Pawn”...the cable show where at least once every episode, somebody refuses to leave without some money, an item that they had no right to claim, no ticket, no ID...and they refuse to cooperate with management to the point that they are physically removed from the building. Yessiree Bob!

The more I think about it, the more I don’t like this. A lot of people are making light of a situation where a high-profile dissenter makes a not-unusual political statement, and is now being (for all practical purposes) threatened for it.

There’s a line; seems it’s getting crossed.

. A quick search now shows Ted trying to dodge the draft and ...living in his pants for a month.

Total lefty agitprop. Nugent was bullcrapping some reporter way back when, and it got reported as truth. Like any journalist should be trusted.

Ted had both 1Y (medical) and 2S (student) draft deferments. He went to college, man.

The Nuge had medical and student deferments.

Yeah. Medical deferments for eating like crap to intentionally alter his blood work, and purposely urinating and defecating in his clothes for 10 days prior to reporting for his draft physical.

HIS words, not mine.

And for what it's worth, the "hero" comment was for the other poster who felt it was necessary to bring his military service into the discussion while questioning mine. No one mentioned yours.

Try googling "Ted Nugent draft dodger".

“A military coup to restore the constitution”

I agree in principle, however most of the upper echelon Generals are too political.

I suppose we could hope that Obama’s un-constitutionality becomes more blatant and acknowledged in the popular media and that some God-fearing General will get fed up.
BTW I expect Romney to be defeated “by hook or by crook”.
