White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters on Air Force One on Wednesday that President Barack Obama has been briefed on the photos and he shared Panetta’s reaction. Carney did not know if Obama had seen them.
The “conduct depicted in those photographs is reprehensible and does not in any way represent the high standards of the US military,” Carney said, according to the pool report. “And the president certainly shares in the defense secretary’s opinion that this should be investigated and those held responsible will be held accountable.”
Carney also said that White House officials are disappointed that the L.A. Times published the photographs, saying they were taken two years ago.

Two years ago these were taken?...history...moving forward. Our guys will be out of that cesspool none too soon. I could care less what they do before they leave...then or now.

However, Obozo is extremely grateful for the release of these photos as it takes the light off of the scandal with the Secret Service in Columbia.
Are these recent 'embarrassing events' staged by the 0bama regime? Was the Secret Service also set up for humiliation and distrust by insurgents within our own government? You betcha!
Perhaps they got the WH go-ahead to drum up antiwar sentiment and have everyone demand a pullout before the election.
Obummer could then use it a positive achievement.../S

The sheer arrogance of his hostility to America and America’s allies. If it were me, I wouldn’t try to piss off the military so much, especially when they are fighting America’s enemy under those horrific ROE.
