Cain once endorsed Gingrich. I think the question here is whether there is truly a “realistic” path to Gingrich coming anywhere close to clinching the nomination? Cain was once everyone’s favorite here. He’s speaking to reality. Not in some bubble or vacuum of unreality.

Yes, Cain did endorse Newt, and now he’s taking it back. I lost respect for him over this flip-flop. There’s no part of me that thinks Cain’s latest endorsement means anything.

If Newt is washed out and over, why would the naysayers care what he does?

If Newt’s suppose to be done, what’s it to anybody?

His delegates have fled and he has.... oh, wait, they haven’t fled.

I am seeing plenty of Newt stickers in Texas and Florida’s count will go Newt’s way on proportion.

There’s a silent deliverance that may surprise a few.

Point is to deny Romney 1,144 and let a floor fight at the convention decide. Romney only needs to lose about 55% of the upcoming 19 states' delegates to be in that position.
