Inspector General Brian Miller, whose report on the Las Vegas conference touched off congressional investigations, almost seemed overwhelmed by the scope of wrongdoing. "Every time we turned over a stone we found 50 more with all kinds of things crawling out," Miller said.
Family members often were taken along, and in an email exchange between GSA regional executive Jeffrey Neely and his wife last November, they wrote of a planned trip turning into a birthday celebration.
The 17-day trip took place last February to Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. Neely who was placed on administrative leave wrote his wife: "Rough schedule per our conversation. Guess this'll be your birthday present?"
She responded, "Its yo birthday....We gonna pawty like iz yo birthday!"

Miller said 115 electronic devices purchased for GSA prize ceremonies were missing, and one was traced to a daughter of Neely.

“Work harder, tax slaves, we have a big party in Vegas coming up!”
Some are big crooks, and some are small crooks. But the Washington insiders are all crooks.
This is why the Founders gave us limited government. Government should be small, and weak and starved for cash. That way it doesn't become tyranny, and that way the people with larcenous intentions will go elsewhere to practice their trade.
>> reporter: the has been at the center of the scandal, jeff neeley did not show up on capitol hill today.
>> i have no comment.
>> i guess the only way we’ll get to see him is on a video in the hot tub .
>> this is neeley relaxing in the tub, and enjoying some wine on a scoutingi itrip to the las vegas resort that cost taxpayers almost a million dollars. he’s facing a criminal investigation and has invoked his right to remain silent. there are more questions about his travels. two months ago he took a 17-day junket to the pacific. and in an e-mail to his wife said, guess this will be your birthday present. last month, he was part of an executive team meeting in napa, california. cost the taxpayers $40,000.

They should be taken out and shot. Would happen in many countries.
Justice Dept: Okay Whites wait in these cells over here while we process you.
Blacks, wait down at Outback where dinner and drinks will be served while you wait your turn.
A timeline released by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on Tuesday shows that GSA executive Jeffrey Neely took five trips totaling 44 days, including a 17-day trip to Hawaii, Guam and Saipan that he and his wife planned as a birthday celebration.
All came after a May 2011 briefing by Inspector General Brian Miller on his preliminary findings. While Miller was still 11 months away from publicly releasing his final report on GSA spending, he issued the early warning to stop the travel. But it did no good.

This what is known as “gubmint stimulus fundin”.
No. Sadly you are wrong. This is mostly a standard of practices in most countries. Except here they do not call it corruption. Its called commission.
Whoever thought that sharing one’s income with the central government was a good idea should be dug up and subjected to public hanging. Were people so incredibly ignorant that they couldn’t see how the bloated, greedy parasites in government would never be satisfied with the promised limit of 3% on income tax?
Governments lie and steal from the people until the people wise up. Anyone who tried to plow their way through the hundreds of tax forms at irs.gov knows we need to start over with something that makes sense. This is just wrong.
In most countries this sort of behavior is part of the compensation system.
Read Ayn Rand much?
He said 40 items were originally reported stolen, but then investigators found about 115 iPods were missing from that prize program. After subpoenaing Apple for information, Miller said it turned out one of the iPods was "in Mr. Neely's personal possession." Neely's daughter, he said, had been "downloading iTunes."

Jeff Neeley enjoying our tax money!
"Here sits Jeffrey Neely, "Super Hack" and Western Regional Commissioner for the GSA gleefully enjoying drinks in a taxpayer paid hot tub...Hope the water temperature was to his satisfaction"
BILL OUR UNCLE SAM: Deborah and Jeff Neely live it up at the Las Vegas M Resort in 2009 while scouting it out for the scandalous GSA conference
The committee released e-mails in which the brazen Neely, who earns $179,000 a year and is still being paid on administrative leave, flaunted his position as a regional commissioner and even invited friends to share in the taxpayer extravagance at the M Resort Spa and Casino, where the hot-tub photos which first emerged on ABC News were taken in 2009 while he took an advance trip there with his wife to check it out.
If you come, we typically host a nice happy hour in my suite one night (with u and the boys as part of it). I know. I am bad. But as deb and I say often, why not enjoy it while we have it and while we can. Aint going to last forever, Neely wrote, referring to his wife.
Wouldn’t it be so much better if it was just corruption or racism facilitating this instead of a total citizenry having lost its understanding of the purposes and limitations of government?
