Real communists believe/understand that their revolution has to be genocidally violent in order to “succeed”, in order to totally crush any thought of opposition to the communist revolution.
The left has always known they could get power without violence, but they couldn't keep it.
If the left doesn't seize absolute power this time, the 1960’s radical left will be gone before the left has another chance at absolute power.
