Notice how the press, even in pointing out Obama’s error, STILL have to fault Bush! I don’t recall Bush making an error in geography. And Obama has made several.

(Obama studied our Constution out of hate for America, not out of love for our laws.)

You're right — and this was much, much more than an error in geography. Obama signaled he's on Argentina's side in the dispute. This was either a major diplomatic mistake — or (worse) an intentional (figurative) poke in Britain’s eye.

I dont recall Bush making an error in geography. I agree with you.
But, of course, with Bush, the press was just looking for things to complain about. Bush once said that "Terrorists will find no safe harbor in Afghanistan". That's an idiomatic expression. It's not wrong (though perhaps not artful). But the press couldn't stop laughing at the stupid president -- Afghanistan doesn't have any harbors!!!!
Bush wasn't talking about a harbor. Shipping was not the topic. But that point escaped the press, who just felt like laughing at him.
Things are different now.

(Like Emmett Till, Trayvon Martin has become simply a stick with which to beat Whites.)

Bush once referred to Africa as a country - that was more important to the press than the fact that he poured rivers of money into AIDS prevention on that continent.
