The GOP is not standing in the way of your forming a “conservative party” in your own image. The obstacle is simply that no one will follow you, and you know it.
The GOP R Us. Moving the Republican Party from center right to solidly Conservative happens from within the rank and file and filters upward (the slow but steady route), or the R & F stages a palace revolt and kicks out the “moderate elites” (the quick and dirty route), but I can see from your post that you are not up to the task.
