Access to the Obama White House is in direct correlation to the amount of money donated to the president's reelection effort and the Democratic party, the New York Times reports today. The Times reports: "those who donated the most to Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party since he started running for president were far more likely to visit the White House than others. Among donors who gave $30,000 or less, about 20 percent visited the White House, according to a New York Times analysis that matched names in the visitor logs with donor records. But among those who donated $100,000 or more, the figure rises to about 75 percent. Approximately two-thirds of the presidents top fund-raisers in the 2008 campaign visited the White House at least once, some of them numerous times."
But the most explosive allegation in the news story comes from former Democratic congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kenney, who calls what the Obama White House is doing "quid pro quo."
Patrick J. Kennedy, the former representative from Rhode Island, who donated $35,800 to an Obama re-election fund last fall while seeking administration support for a nonprofit venture, said contributions were simply a part of how this business works.
If you want to call it quid pro quo, fine, he said. At the end of the day, I want to make sure I do my part.
Patches - stay off the roads......
Is this not illegal bribery? Have we got so decadent we don’t care about political bribery? . Is this not impeachable? If I am Mayor and I don’t see you except for money— don’t I go to jail???
.. and what about all of the waivers of Obamacare given out like receipts to Companies that donate money to Barry.
The Democrat race card is also a get out of jail card.
Patrick Kennedy showed up late for flight to Boston out of DCA some years back. The aircraft had long since pushed, but Kennedy risked arrest screaming at the agent to “call the plane back”. In true Blueblood fashion he dropped his name, Ted Kennedy’s and anyone else he could think of before finally settling for threatening the agent with, “I’ll have your job for this!”..
If Hannibal Lecter can insist on it, why not Obama?
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list

It’s OK, these are DEMOCRATS. Mothing is illegal if Done-While-Democrat now. Just ask anyone in the mainstream media.
Now. if this had been a REPUBLICAN, the media would be screaming for blood, 24/7, on every channel. and radio station in America.
Welcome to our ‘Brave, New World’
OK, I have to confess, Patches is the one Kennedy I sort of modestly admired. He always seemed reasonably decent and honest, thanks to his Alcoholics Anonymous self introspection, I guess.
He just completely unexpectedly proved himself big time, with this honesty.
Watch your back, Patches.
when GWB was in office this was called “cronyism”....under ayatollah obama they call it “change you can believe in”...
You obviously have extremely low standards.
Is this not illegal bribery?
:::::::::::::::
Yes. The White House belongs to every American CITIZEN. Regardless of the fact we have an illegal president residing there. Disgusting that one of our major landmarks to liberty and freedom is overrun with communists and America-haters.
In somewhat less fastidious circles, this is known as bribery, and it’s very much a practice indigenous to Third World nations - as, for example, in Africa.
Clinton rented out the white house and rides on AF One. When W came in he should have sicked the AG on the bunch of crooks. But nothing was done. I was very disappointed when George said “We need to put this all behind us.” Well, it’s not behind us now. It’s being rammed down our throats.
That's the benefit of a BIG Government....for the Elites of the Government.
And this is surprising to just who?
In Chicago, it’s called “pay for play”. Blago just went to jail for it. (he’s one of the few!)
Nobody uses it as effectively as Obastard has, since getting into politics.
Blogo has to be scratching his head: Obama gets away with this, and *I* am going to the slammer ???
