In short, if one does not have a photo ID, I do not believe it's possible to be engaged in contemporary American society. You'd have to be so far under the radar, that you are literally off the grid and living as a recluse. The assertion that voter ID laws will disenfranchise American citizens is so lame that anyone making that assertion should be examined for being psychologically disabled.
Now if someone is actually loving that far off the grid as to not have a Photo ID and not doing any of the aforementioned common practices, then I would say that voting is not even registering with them and that it is a moot point.
I've used this argument in discussing voter ID with the few liberals I know, and when confronted with the list of what you need, they are usually left dumbfounded and unable to continue supporting their side of the discussion.
So why do liberals continue to use the lame excuse of disenfranchising voters? Because they need to continue supporting voter fraud to win elections.
It's not just a claim. It's a FACT.
When I get medical treatment, I have to show a picture ID, under a rule promulgated by the Obama Administration. Who knew that Barack Obama was prejudiced against black people?
How about this: You only get to vote if you’re paying taxes.

At my supermarket Wednesday, was checking out in the liquor area as nobody hardly knows it’s a 15 or less regular checkout. Gal left her ID on the counter. Black.
They all have ID if they want smokes, alcohol, bank accounts, check cashing places, utilities, plane tickets, rental cars, hotel rooms, jobs, government benefits. They all have IDs, it,s just that they can’t cheat if they have to show ID.
If showing an ID is racist for voting, then it’s racist for everything. All or nothing here.
No they don't. Not in today's world anyway. The ONLY reason to squash voter ID laws is to allow illegals to vote.

Except for a very few areas (gun rights, but that will be 'fixed' by the Trayvons), conservatives and little-r republicans have lost every single battle in the civil society.
We cannot ask for ID without being called 'racist'. Even though ID is needed for every other aspect of life in this increasingly-totalitarian police state. "Your papers, please!" or you will be shot by rogue cops. But not at the voting booth! Let the damn illegals in to vote! Oh, I forgot, 'no person is illegal'!
The majority of the population is so wrapped up in bread and circuses that they don't give a flying fornication what his happening to the country.
They will wake up one day, with rioters burning down all the major cities, no food or water available because the #Occupiers have derailed all the trains, overturned all the trucks, and looted all the stores, and these sheep will wonder what they do now.
