A U.S. lawmaker says a "significant number" of Secret Service agents involved in an alleged prostitution scandal at an international summit brought women back to their hotel rooms before President Barack Obama arrived in Colombia.

I've always found it amazing that a man will risk ruining his career and his marriage just for an orgasm. It's truly one of the stupidest things that a human being can do.
'Tremendous embarrassment to USA'...
Sub-heading should preface this headline...
Obama Arrives At Summit of Americas...
Speaking of “close to,” this is a close cousin to the vehement non-denial denial perfected under the Clinton administration.
The equivocation of that little “close to” will tell the tale, if ever allowed. One is to assume that most were patronizing prostitutes, but that isn’t really what was said.
I’ve always thought the designation ‘Homo Sapiens’ was way too optimistic. ‘Homo Erectus’ I can understand.
My guess is the women were sent to the rooms by someone trying to set them up. The men refused to pay because they didn’t want them and knew something was up. Its happened before but its usually kept out of the news and not turned into a national embarrassment.
It was probably made major news to keep attention off something else.
Good theory.
And it may have been the behavior of a certain narcissist.
This response is so that pathology and the Chicago way.
IMHO they won't be able to keep them all quiet.
They think they have one of those “don’t ask, don’t tell” charge acctounts for Mooch-ell and the First Brat who went to Mexico on our dime for Spring vacation for a 14 year old?
Do they not understand that prostitution often involves international “white slave trafficking” or is it their position that anything “white” cannot BE victims?
The fish rots from the head - Mike Dukakis (RIP - politically)
This confirms it for me ... zer0, moochelle, billy, hilly, reid, froze-face, barney, weineer, huma were all there.
Men do stupid stuff, so do women.
So far, this whole thing doesn’t smell right. Why would secret agents be paling around in a hotel bar, chasing hookers, when they are supposed to be securing facilities for the honorable leader?
Why should I resent paying for these guys to have a good time on my dime?
Considering that this took place in the same hotel
as the press pool you have to wonder how many
reporters had prostitutes in THEIR rooms.
This sounds like a case of look at them
don’t look at me.
How many press people had guests too?
On another thread it was noted that the hotel manager aked them to pay more for their rooms because they paid for one and there were actually two. He apparently caled the cops to help him collect.
This thread say there were 11 such rooms with two rather than one paying guest.
The guys apparently didn’t stiff the women, ther were accused of stiffing the hotel.

These guys are usually too busy to get stinking drunk or be interested in women during these events.
I don’t buy it. The hotel would never make it an international issue over a few bucks. That would guarantee the loss of any future business from the embassy or local base.
Yep, it’s right up there with marrying for essentially the same reason and risking half of everything you own along with indentured servitude through college if ther are children, whom you rarely are permitted to see.
Or some scam sent the girls to their rooms, all 11 refused and told them to get lost. Some Narcissist saw a chance to get rid of eleven “Repigs” and took the Pimps word over the Services’ ?
