According to Romney, Mormons can be in good standing within the Mormon Church and be pro-abortion.

Jan Mickelson reads a Mormon statement that says Mormons are against abortion, but Romney denies this and says you can be for abortion and be a good Mormon. He says Mormons in leadership position believe in abortion. Listen to what he says about the Mormon Church and abortion at 10:58 into the tape.

Everyone better face up to the fact that Romney is the only man in the world who has a chance to unseat obama.

Newt and Rick are broke. Ron Paul will split the party. None of them has a real campaign and they won’t get one together in time.

Quit the nit picking single issue stuff. Romney while not great or real good is still far better than the alternative.

Time to grow up, hold your nose, and get that Commie Islamist sociopath out of the whitehouse.

Romney’s wrong. I’m LDS. A lot of my friends are LDS. Every single one of them is fervently anti-abortion and anti-gay marriage.

This is just another reason why I see Romney and Reid in the same light. I’m not voting for him. I’m writing in Newt. A line has to be drawn somewhere, and we’ve got to hunker down and prepare for a fight. It’s only going to get worse before it begins to get better.

I believe Romney has legalistically threaded the needle on this issue in accordance with the teachings of his church.

But I also believe that he lied in a blatant and calculated way to the voters in MA when he represented himself as if pro-choice. As he stressed at the very end of that video, he vetoed any legislation that itself was pro-choice with an understanding that he’d have violated the tenets of his church not to.
