We need a much larger majority in the House, with less RINO's, and we need to take over the Senate with legit conservatives.
I hope that FR, after the emotions have cooled here, centers itself on what we conservatives need to do to save this country from oblivion.
Praying with you!
They are. Just go read some of the libtards forums, twitter, etc. They are sure their bammy is going to be re-elected, they love the fights here on FR. It gets them all fired up and ready to go. It plays right into their hands. I will bet the majority that are on FR telling everyone to not vote are from those places. Not ALL, but a lot.
“Well,
There goes another 10,000 subscribers. Are you freakin drunk or suicidal? You can’t talk to people like that. You’re going to wind up getting the ZOT.”
...or another $10k in support from those of us who respect conservatives that stick their principles.
....by the way how about you self-Zot yourself off this site and a sunshine pumpinging Romney site if you don’t like the commentary.
The difference is, both love homos but one is one.
Thanks for the heads-up on the speaking engagements! Glad
he’s out there keeping his name in the mix!
[Seriously? Is that what you are suggesting?]
At the bottom of my post was...Glass half FULL, I should have been more clear, I’m VIEWING the glass HALF FULL.
It is my VIEW, an OPTION, I’m not going to fall on my sword if you opt to view the glass half empty.
ARe we going to finally see NEwt debate Romney one on one?
Jeez, you would think the guy had enacted his own Obama-style healthcare system and supported TARP. Oh, wait...
And Romney is a sympathizer.
Lincolns party now the party of prejudice (Says Romney owns the ground zero mosque bldg!)
Worse yet, the tattered building that was bought by the Muslim real estate company had been owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, a company Romney founded in 1984.
Interesting thread. I think it’s about time to fire up the wayback machine and put a poll on the front page:
IF Romney wins the Republican nomination, how will you vote?
Romney
Obama
Write-in
Stay Home
Let’s get a real gauge on here, not just the loudest shouters.
Really Jim? So describe to those of us who believe strongly that just about anybody is better than Obozo, your plan of action after your actions (or lack thereof) succeed in getting him reelected?????
Stop with the emotional and get real. You said there is no crying in a rebellion...so let’s see some concrete effectual contingency plans for action re: a second term for Obosco that will surely mean the end of the Constitution, our nation, and global damage to individual liberty. The consequences of a Romney presidency would be far less dire, giving our conservative cause a chance to advance prior to blood-shed.
We would all love to see a last minute dark horse emerge, but absent that transpiring, I will go with the “anybody-but-Obuzzy” crowd and hopefully save my ammo for a future, and yet to be determined inevitable, requirement.
Thanks for the Newt updates. It is the cowards that quit so easily and jump on the Romney bandwagon..the type of people that would have surrendered during the revolution. No guts..no glory.
The guy is giving three speeches a day, traveling from town to town, and just because the media don’t report about that, people believe Newt “stopped” his campaign. It enrages me so much. People who want to get informed can do it anytime at newt.org on twitter or on Facebook. People who want to participate, can do it!

No TRUE conservative can vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-government mandate on citizens, pro-coercion state measures on citizens, pro-taxes, pro-fines, pro-deficit liberal like Mitt Romney.
The only option to stop Willard get to 1144 is to vote NEWT in the 20 remaining primaries.
Same here. We have a situation here that is not all that complicated and yet many FReepers aren't even trying to resolve it.
There are two schools of thought: (1) If Romney is GOP nominee, don't vote for him, or (2) Vote Romney to help defeat Obama.
For the next seven months there will be FReepers in either of these camps. So what do we do about it?
Spend seven months creating 1500-post threads where longtime FReepers say the most horrible things about each other and good, decent conservatives get zotted one after another?
That seems spectacularly unproductive but so far that's where we're heading.
Oh well, at least we'll provide amusement for the DUmmies.
There's another option, much better than "Stay Home": VOTE all the down-ballot races, but ignore the Presidential.
Personally I'll write-in Sarah Palin, to demonstrate my disdain for Romney and Obama, and my belief that she's the best around.
I live in NY state, so my vote is best cast for my principles, because NY will go for Obama regardless...
“ARe we going to finally see NEwt debate Romney one on one?”
Willard the coward won’t agree to a head-to-head debate with NEWT.
Ask yourselves HOW the deuce he would be able to debate Obama?
Congratulations Jim. I am glad you are taking a stand on this. I figured that once Romney got the nomination that FR would go full throttle for him. I am Glad that does not seem to be the case this time. I predict you are going to be having a lot of trouble from the “lessor of two Evils” people on the forum though. Those who have sold their souls to a party instead of a moral code. Anyone who supports Obama, or Romney better start asking how they are going to explain it to God on judgment day.
Mitt Romney opposed the two most successful conservative policy efforts of the last 30 years - the Reagan administration policies of the 1980`s and the Contract With America of the 1994.
In fact, in his debate with Ted Kennedy in 1994, Mitt Romney refused to endorse the Contract With America, which House Republicans had proudly presented as their campaign manifesto, and he balked when Kennedy tried to link him to the Reagan administration. I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush, Romney retorted.
Romney voted democrat for Carter and Tsonga!
