Politics: The left had a fit of the vapors after GOP Rep. Allen West of Florida insinuated that there were boatloads of communists in Congress among Democrats. Well, maybe not, but where there's smoke, there's fire.
Speaking before a town hall in Jensen Beach, Fla., the popular congressman said: "I believe there's about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the communist party."
A staffer later explained that he was referring to the far-left congressional Progressive Caucus, all of whose members have truly radical pasts.
West's statement ignited a firestorm. How dare he suggest that any of us could possibly be communist?
"Calling fellow members of Congress 'communists' is reminiscent of the days when Joe McCarthy divided Americans with name-calling and modern-day witch hunts," huffed the congressional Progressive Caucus.
Oh, please. Actual party members? Maybe not. But the Caucus is up to its ears in far-left, and yes, genuinely communist politics, feeding off its agenda and belonging to its groups and allies. They know that nobody wants to live under communism, so they mask that extreme agenda as mainstream Democratic Party politics.
Members of the Progressive Caucus have in fact been members or close allies to the hardest of hard-core Marxist groups, from the Democratic Socialists of America, to the New Party, the Committees of Correspondence, and yes, the Communist Party USA itself.
All of these seek to destroy private property, seize the means of production and turn America into a vast prison using democratic institutions to destroy the system from within, just as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Chile's Salvador Allende did to destroy democracy in their countries. Take a look at the backgrounds some of the eminentos of the Progressive Caucus:

That myth should have been ended a long time ago—approximately 1917 or even circa 1789.
They are F*cking Communist B*stards! NO PC DODGE OR WORD GAME PLAY
Actually West himself explained it in the very next sentence at the time. Unfortunately the rest of the media had an attack of the vapors and fainted before they heard his entire statement. So that's where the narrative ends now.
Which Progressive policies do Communists disagree with?

Please post a list on this thread of the above “public servants.”
BTW, since we all pay for all of their salaries, we should at least know who they all are.
FReegards!
Melvin Watt, C-NC is one.

“From each according to his ability to each according to his need,” was how Marx put it. Which aspect of this is not Progressive or Obama?
Communists, islamists, liars and/or idiots: The Democrat Party complete.
The usual suspects. Not too many surprises, I imagine.

Good for West. Lets start calling these dims out for what they are.
No more hiding in the dark for them. Shine a light and watch them scurry.
They say that like it's a bad thing.
That's how I would deal with 'em.
If we later learned that the Progressives were indeed commies we could take them back to the 1500 mile marker and let them walk again.
If I was emperor for a day all the prisons would be emptied ... they'd all be sent to an appropriate mile marker in the Aleutians and told to walk/swim home. The few that did make it back to the mainland would behave themselves for the rest of their days, and taxpayers wouldn't be out a single dime for incarceration.
Don’t ever forget that the people who vote this scum into legislative offices are Communists too. Yes, our neighbors are supporters of the Communist Party!
Ever thought about that aspect of the situation before?
Thanks to both of you for the complete lists.
In return, I will give y’all some food for thought as follows:
A dictator, such as Obama, only has the power that the people give him.
Currently, at least 40 % of American voters are gladly willing to give Obama the necessary power to continue his dictatorship.
Dictator Obama has designed Obamacare to become active only AFTER he is re-elected, thus enabling THE NINE SUPREMES to delay ruling on the Constitutionality of the dictate of the individual mandate until Obama is once again the Illegal Foreign White House Occupier, (IFWHO).
The purpose of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack is simple: 1.) Regulate; 2.) Control; and 3.) Destroy. By his own count he as achieved 60 % of his goals, according to the note he says he carries in his pocket.
Obamas obvious deep hatred of America could have only come from his childhood.
Since there are no known networks of childhood friends from Obamas past, Obama was probably a member of a Marxist sleeper cell funded by wealthy men with a Marxist view of the World.
The lack of credible evidence that has NOT been forged requires a long-term, highly skilled and well-funded support group.
Who the key members of Obamas probable support group and probable sleeper cell were and are is well known to the CIA and the FBI.
Will the Citizen Journalists such as Breitbart Editor Joel Pollack be able to out-spy these two tax-funded spy entities?
BTW, forget about the LAM, (Liberal Agenda Media), as they are saving their notes to write their tell-all Obama books after Obama has SAFELY retired back home in Kenya.
BTW, BTW, to all the doubters of the above speculation: what does your gut tell you?
” Yes, our neighbors are supporters of the Communist Party!
Ever thought about that aspect of the situation before?”
Yes, I have thought about it more than I care to mention.
The stupid SOB’s !
Too bad Allen West didn't mention that Obamarx is among the list. From a couple of links discovered during the 2008 campaign......
Chicago Democratic Socialists of America
Towards the bottom of the page, under "Chicago New Party Update" you'll see
"Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.
The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat."
I also held on to a WaybackMachine link from '96 that showed Obamarx ran as a NP candidate when he ran for the IL Senate, but they don't seem to have that accessible any more. But I saved the money quote from that link....
October 1996 Update:
Running to Win: The Key Races
Illinois: Three NP-members won Democratic primaries last Spring and face off against Republican opponents on election day: Danny Davis (U.S. House), Barack Obama (State Senate) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary).
Here's the link in case the page comes back some day.
I am hoping against hope that Allen West gets the phonecall to be VP. Nobody, and I mean nobody, puts the smack on the leftists idiots like he does.
