Astonished at some of the hateful comments about Ann Romney. For those unaware, Ann Romney has scrubbed many a bathrooms and cooked and cleaned for years - in addition to raising 5 boys and battling cancer and MS. Ann Romney is legendary for rarely having domestic help in their home because it is incompatible with their values and financial priorities. The Romneys have never had domestic help commensurate with their station in life.

IMO, it's a matter of lacking critical thinking skills.

We hate Mitt, therefore we have to hate Ann. Unfortunately, they're also missing the glaring fact that this slam against Ann Romney is a slam against millions of women who determine that raising your own children and not having someone else do it for you is the better choice.

Obviously there are those women who have no choice, and there are some who have enough energy to do both well, but there are a whole lot more who sacrificially stay at home to be there for their kids whenever their kids need them to be there.

Ann Romney obviously made that choice, and Hillary Rosen just attacked her for it.

What side of this debate should any conservative be on?

It's a no-brainer.......

Romneys have 'never' had domestic help commensurate with their station in life.....it is incompatible with their values and financial priorities.

That's not true...

Romney already admitted to having gardeners and certainly households maids as their IRS shows.....

IRS forms released Tuesday by Mitt Romney's presidential campaign show that $20,603 in taxable wages for household help in 2010. This figure was divided among four women: Rosania Costa ($4,808), Kelli Harrison ($8,667), Susan Moore ($2,238) and Valerie Cravens Anae ($4,890).

As well they paid less for them than the average wages paid for domestic help....and this was for one household...they have three.
