That's not true...
Romney already admitted to having gardeners and certainly households maids as their IRS shows.....
IRS forms released Tuesday by Mitt Romney's presidential campaign show that $20,603 in taxable wages for household help in 2010. This figure was divided among four women: Rosania Costa ($4,808), Kelli Harrison ($8,667), Susan Moore ($2,238) and Valerie Cravens Anae ($4,890).
As well they paid less for them than the average wages paid for domestic help....and this was for one household...they have three.

I didn’t say that Ann Romney had no domestic help. In fact, they have very limited help when compared to their financial standing. Articles have been written since 1999 that Ann Romney does not like full-time help. They have relented since 2008 and the rigors of apresidential campaign, but the IRS filing you cite proves my point. This amount of help for 3 or more homes is infinitesimal.
If my wife and I had that kind of money, we would have a lot more help, I assure you.
Ann is notorious for wanting to do her own housework and prepare meals for her children and grandchildren. This is a fact, look it up.
