Relying on those precedents, Gingrich said that if he were in the White House, he would not feel compelled to always follow the Supreme Court's decisions on constitutional questions. As an example, he cited the court's 5-4 decision in 2008 that prisoners held by the U.S. at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, had a right to challenge their detention before a judge.
I’ve read every post on this thread. This is what I thought would happen - Romneybots will sign up to praise Romney with the ole “anyone but Obama” routine - “at least he’s better than Obama”.
Obamabots will sign up to say “vote third party”, or “write-in” to keep Freepers from voting for Romney.
Then, there are some of us who think - I won’t vote for anyone who is the exact opposite of my values - economic values, self protection values, defense of country values, Christian values. That’s it in concrete. Romneybots and Obamabots won’t affect me and many others.
