Of course they are. Where, exactly, do they intend to find an impartial jury?

They couldn’t care less about jury impartiality right now. The main thing was to do anything that will preserve order in the near term.

Wow, a prosecutor who doesn’t mind losing. Rare.

Assuming they can find an impartial jury, on what evidence will they convict him? And if they don't convict him, will this prosecutor assume responsibility for the ensuing riots?

Pathetic.

Saw this coming when she didn’t use the Grand Jury — knew she’d get a “no bill.”

The lynch mob gets their way.

If I complain enough, can I get someone arrested regardless of evidence?

Because post-acquittal riots are a Florida tradition!

What the article doesn’t say what they are charging him:
littering for leaving the shell on the ground.

How are you “following” someone if you are telling the police you don’t know where the guy is and you say this in a whisper because you are scared?

No surprise. The gun grabbing racists had their president get involved and there was no stopping the fix once the political pressure was on.

History is replete with seemingly innocuous events that usher in mob rule. We can now all tell our grandkids where we were when the first jew had his store front window smashed.

Question... if she is going to charge him, why are they expecting “controversy”? That is what the race-baiters and their syncopants want. This is all to weird.

Freepers,

Believe it or not, Zimmerman has a pretty good case for political asylum in another country. Pretty astounding in this day and age, but true. Look at the facts:

1. He can't get a fair trial here. Jurors will be intimidated.

2. If he turns himself in, there's a good chance it wouldn't even make it trial. After all, there's a bounty on his head.

3. It's obvious he'd get no civil rights protection from the national government here. In fact, they seem to be on the side of the mob, and will aid in the persecution.

4. The peace officers, whose duty it is to protect the innocent until proven otherwise, can't even protect itself from the political mob.

This is the book definition of a political refugee status. If I were him, and I couldn't get out of the country, I'd find a foreign embassy or consulate, and ask for protection. Yeah, I know it sounds third world, but he's got a case.

The official didn't know the charge and spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to release the information. The official said that authorities know where Zimmerman is.

Really? Not authorized to release this information? Surely not!

charge him with leaving his blood on the sidewalk from his head wound? Illegal parking while he went searching for the hooded one? Shooting a hole in his skittle bag? Please put me on the jury.

What are they going to charge him with—involuntary manslaughter?
