We're All in Trouble
The American Spectator ^ | April 10, 2012 | Quin Hillyer

Now we will put to the test what was always an odd claim, namely that Mitt Romney is well positioned and well equipped to defeat Barack Obama this fall. This is a man who lost by 17 points to an incredibly weakened Ted Kennedy (people forget how vulnerable Kennedy was that year) in one of the most pro-Republican years in history, 1994 (the same year in which Rick Santorum won yet another upset victory); a man who would have been handily defeated if he had run for re-election as governor of Massachusetts in 2006; and a man who could barely squeak past his GOP opponents this year despite running almost non-stop for nearly six full years and despite outspending all of them combined by at least a 2-1 margin, while outspending each of them individually by at least 4-1 and running ads that were 90% negative against them.

Plus, he's a perfect caricature for Obama's anti-corporate-elite message to take root. Plus, he's plastic.

The GOP establishment -- the money men, the consultants who so repeatedly spread the message that only Romney could beat Obama while they angled for a piece of the lucrative campaign pie, the hangers-on and officious kingmakers, and the cultural elitists who secretly share much of the big media's cultural attitudes and disdain for middle America -- now must prove they can actually deliver a victory. If they can't, the GOP should have a figurative bloodletting that banishes them forever from party power.

Nonetheless, every conservative, and everybody who loves this country and cares about its traditions, its Constitution, and its freedom, should do nothing other than help that establishment succeed....

I hear your pain from your candidate losing. Actually, I totally agree with you, Santorum was the best of the worst. I just knew how the Republican Party in Pennsylvania did not like him when he was Senator and did not support him when he lost his PA senate seat. I knew this problem was coming and would be an embarrassment for Santorum in the PA primary.

Right now, our choices are Obama or the Obama clone. The same big money power people who work the puppet strings are holding them for both O’Bummer and O’Romney!

Better to just sit home and cry into your milk for the Lost Republic. Oh, and sit at your keyboard and bitch about the establishment for the next four years. But at least you'll still have your principles, doncha' know.

If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose ... not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures."

It is wrong to assume that the House and Senate
will be taken with the BACKSTABBING RINO at the helm.

If Romney is on the ticket, MILLIONS WILL NOT VOTE.

It will be not just Obama that wins. IT WILL BE THE DNC.

IT’S UNANIMOUS FOR RINO ROMNEY
From the Kennedy Seat in Massachusetts to the entire DNC

Simply being not only a northeastern liberal but a Mormon are both deal breakers for me.

Plus the likelyhood that America would be ripe for a second civil war or revolution as a form of “angry blowback.”

I don’t know how to post a pic..... but look at this picture of Scott Brown of MA and see how much he looks like Romney in his features and mannerisms!

Related, or just another clone?

“The rest of the votes brought to you by SEIU and Scytl...”

That is why I have been posting on Scytl. I’ve been researching that company by entering the Board Members and CEO’s names in Google to find links with Obama, Soros, and other devious characters.

Funny thing, every cross search with Scytl and Soros had the common link of the BILDEBERGER GROUP attendance list!

If you look at the countries that Scytl is counting votes for, there is no question of a future explosion in the planning.

Remember,”The power is not in the people who cast the votes, but in the people who count the votes!”

A horrid article.

The writer makes no principled arguments whatsoever - they’re all utilitarain - and then sells all principle down the river.

The Republican Party has gone insane.

Soros owns BOTH Romney (JET Blue) and Obama (SSDD).

Soros will decide in November who will be our King.

“Scytl... skittles... coincidence?”

Many colors, but they all taste the same! Personally, I don’t like skittles either.

I meant to say Scytl board and officers cross referenced to Soros in Google yields Bildegerger Group common link. But I’m sure that will be wiped clean real soon!

Get over your crying in you beer soon, because by not getting behind the ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE, you ensure the destruction of America.

There is a vast difference between Obama’s “Burning the House Down” and Romney’s POTENTIAL for inadequately maintaining the home.

There will be no America to save in 4 years, if Obama stays in office.

Whoever wrote this has no clue what they’re talking about. Even Jesus Christ himself couldn’t unseat Ted Kennedy. Death was the only salvation for us.

This isn't a fair knock. Jesus Christ himself, arising from the dead, could have run against Kennedy in 1994 and lost by double digits. Mitt actually looked pretty good for awhile, before Kennedy brought out the howitzer attack ads painting Mitt as a merciless capitalist who bought companies just to lay off poor black and hispanic wage earners.
